Belle couldn't be happier that the loud girl had carted away her
room mate. She wasn't ready to have to deal with people yet.
Instead, she pulled out her violin and started playing. It
started off steady, but soon drifted to a wild melody, just like
her life had been. It was all normal! She had good friends,
decent grades, and didn't have to worry about her parents
hounding her. It had been perfect! Then a letter from this
stupid school just had to come in the mail with the offer of a
full ride and her parents had fallen head over heals. They
didn't have to take care of their little girl any more! They
could let this school do that.
(Note: While writing this, I kept hearing the violin from The
Devil Went Down To Georgia in my head XD)

Eventually, Belle had to stop playing because her fingers felt
like they were about to bleed. Instead, she busied herself with
putting her things out. Clothes went in her small dresser, and
her unworn uniform was hung in the closet. She nearly filled her
shelves with books of all shapes, sizes, and thickness'. Then
she focused on placing her dodads and sentimentalalities.

Link was walking down the hall when he heard beautiful music
coming from a dorm room nearby. He followed the music and found
a beautiful brunette. Suddenly, the music stopped, and she
looked so distressed....his heart went out to her. He was
enamored by her beauty, and when she got up to put away her
things he ducked out of her doorway and went to walk away.
Suddenly, he felt a tugging need to go help her. After all, he
wasn't some creep who spied on girls. He just happened to be
drawn by the music and saw that she needed help. That wasn't
creepy, right? He gathered up his courage and walked into the
room. She was putting books on her bookshelves. Wow, she really
likes to read, he thought. She must be pretty smart.. He cleared
his throat and she turned to him.
"Hello m'am. I see you are unpacking...perhaps I could help
you?" he tried to sound as confident as possible, but her face
was impossible to read.

Belle turned to see an attractive blond boy with pointed ears
standing nervously in her doorway. She debated in her mind for a
bit to decide to let him stay and help or not... On one hand,
she didn't like a lot of people; on the other, he could be one
of the few people in this world she could stand. The brunette
bit her lip. "Sure," she relented. "Could you put that box on
the bed?" she asked, pointing.

Link smiled. "Sure thing, m'am." He got right to it, following
each command she gave. After a while, he looked over to her.
"So, I'm Link. What is your name?"

Link nodded. "Sure thing." He smiled down at her and added
"Don't hesitate to ask if you need anything." He then exited the
room, his heart running 60 miles an hour.
