Zelda could tell that there was still sadness in his eyes. As
soon as she reached out for him he changed the subject and she
stepped back for a second slightly thrown off "sure!....yeah
let's go."

Aang quickly picked his way among all the
foliage he'd spent the last several years tending and growing,
and easily found right where all the vegetables were. "Here we
are," he said, satisfied. "Zelda, Tink, what would you like in
your soup?" he asked in his most lofty "server" voice, and bowed
slightly, doing his best to keep a straight face. He missed
times like these with his long lost friends... but was glad he
had new friends that he could act silly around again.

Zelda tried to to help him perk up a bit, "cucumbers are pretty
good!" she said with enthusiasm as Tink nodded in agreement. "so
Aang what do you do for fun around here?"

Aang grinned mischieviously. "Oh, running,
climbing trees... I might just have a natural spring in the
garden... and a swing... not to mention Appa can fly!"

"Sounds like you can keep yourself well entertained!"
Zelda was happy for him and suddenly remembered Link's face. She
shook her head really quick trying to brush away the memories.

Aang opened his mouth, but right before he
said, "It's been lonely," he changed, and instead said, "It'll
be better with friends!" he exclaimed optimistically. He had to
stop thinking about loneliness. He wasn't alone anymore! At
least... not for a little while. He didn't know how long it
would be before Zelda and Tink would get bored, or
uncomfortable. Most of his 'friends' usually ended up leaving,
saying they'd visit again, but never coming back. They were just
too uncomfortable with the way he lived and intimidated by his
air-bender powers.

He leapt up in the air, an air ball
forming beneath him and rushed inside upon it, throwing the
vegetables in a clay pot that had boiling water on the stove.

"Well..." said Aang slightly mischievously.
"You said you were hungry. Pick out whatever you'd like in the
soup." He grinned cheesily as he used wind to whisk a lot of the
vegetables off of their vines or plants and carried into in the
clay pot he held with a strong blustery burst of air.
