"Finished!" Sherlock declared, completely
ignoring the other person. "Come on John! Give me the other
vile," he demanded, wandering off to the next tree. John sighed.
"Sorry... I can explain if you come with us." John grimaced,
irked by Sherlock's rude demeanor.

"Well," Aang laughed, his cheeks flushed, both
happy and uncomfortable... strange he'd never felt that way
before. "I'm not used to guests, but I'm pretty sure I have
enough bread for dinner. Might make some vegetable soup as well.
Got plenty out in my garden..."

"Course!" Aang said cheerfully. "Come on,
it's out the back door." He explained, pushing open his door
made from bark. "If you're wondering..." he stated, "I tie
everything down if there's ever a storm." He held the door open
for them as they stepped out into his garden, gasping.

John sighed. "Well... we're sort of detectives."
"Consulting Detective!" Sherlock muttered a little
loudly.
"Yes, and well, the last case there was tree sap on
the victim... so now he wants a full record of a whole bunch of
tree sap for future cases." John shrugged, "That's the basics."

Padme smiled. "Well if that is all you need, you are welcome to
my personal library. I have taken samples not only of different
saps, but also leaves and whatnot. I am a bit of a botanist.
Trying to find medicinal uses of nature, as it were."

Sherlock opened his mouth, presumably with a
retort, but John cut him off. "Actually, I'm pretty sure he'd
like to look at your library and records."
Sherlock grimaced, "As long as you have a copy
of the samples I can take to my own lab," he said briskly, and
then with a sudden change of demeanor, "If you wouldn't mind,"
he said, with a polite, pleasant smile, his eyes actually
generating some kind of warmth. John shook his head knowingly.

Padme raised an eyebrow, then gave a tight smile. "Of course. I
have plenty of samples you can take back with you. Follow me."
With that, she walked back towards her small home, wondering if
the young girl was alright.
