"Duck! Who are your friends?"
"Sherlock Holmes and John Watson. They were bored and lonely,
but they should be gone soon."
The golden-haired shop-owner smiled wriley, "Very well, just
make sure that one doesn't eat everything and they don't get
into trouble." They both smiled at the irony, the bell tinged
its fairy-bell as the exited. "When they do leave, we just got
new shipments in of both Cinder's Beauty and Ebony Apple, switch
out the clothes, change the displays, and put anything that is
more than 3 months old in the back. We'll sort it out later. If
you have a moment, do what you can for reorganizing."
"Okay Aurora!"
"I'll be upstairs. Ring when Tomoyo's appointment is here."
Duck nodded as her boss disappeared into the clearance room. She
knew the two boys weren't really gone, but they were
disappearing around the corner of the block. She had a minuet.
She dashed into the first of the three dressing rooms, grabbed
the three garments there, and proceeded to the next two. She had
a wad by the time she was done. She peeked out the door, to
double check that no one was there. No one was so she crossed to
the wall decorated with an elaborate mural of fairy-tale scenes.
Some of the elements extending gently out. She hit the button
hidden in Sleeping Beauty's spinning wheel.
Part of the wall slide away, revealing a tiny area to store the
clothes. She hung the clothes still on their hangers on the
metal bar, dumping the rest in the basket below. She slid one of
the fairy wings just right, sending the metal clothes storage
back to the back-room and closing the wall sliently. The door
once more invisible.
She was just coming round the corner, when she heard Sherlock's
finishing remark. She could have groaned. "What were you two up
to?"

Sherlock smiled a very smug and satisfied
smile. "Oh, I was just deducing the fact that there are hidden
doors to storage rooms and such." he gestured. Duck looked
mortified. "Don't worry," he said, a twinkle in his eye. "I
won't breath a word. As long as you allow me to look for them...
and enter if I find them." Sherlock smirked expectantly, feeling
very excited. Something interesting he could do! John sighed and
shook his head.

Duck sighed. She was hoping that she could have distracted him
with the Knights or something, but the damage had been done.
"You'd better not!! But fine...." she sighed. "Just know -
there's a booking at 4:30, so you have to leave before then!"

"Well that's ample. That gives me nearly an
hour." Sherlock grinned, and John rolled his eyes. He wondered
if he could get some sort of weird disorder diagnoses from
rolling his eyes, sighing and shaking his head so much.

"Just don't .... damage anything." It was pretty evident
Sherlock didn't have a lot of regard for, well, anything, when
it came to solivng a case.

Sherlock waved her away airily. "Of course
not. And I can take responsibility for anything I may damage,
and make sure your... manager knows you had nothing to do with
it." he smirked, "I would have simply gone ahead with or without
permission." John sighed heavily. Sometimes he wondered why he
was friends with the black-haired jerk who disregarded every
rule placed in front of him if it wasn't convenient to him.

Zelda noticed that Merida was in a hurry and quickly got out of
her way and headed back down the stairs toward the exit.

Hermione slowed to a pace that was comfortable
for Aang (and herself) to keep up with. Aang breathed a quiet
sigh of relief. "So... I was thinking, we could go to the Briar
Rose, and get some snacks, and make sure Duck, or whoever, know
that you'll be doing the test thing on Saturday too. We could
maybe look around the shop and stuff, too." he said, hoping he
sounded relaxed and off-hand enough. Hermione smiled slightly,
and was relieved that he nose wasn't so stuffy and runny
anymore.
"Sure." she said brightly. "That sounds great,"
she twinkled. Aang smiled his own dorky smile, and they took off
in the direction of the little shop.
