-I see... - Euphie replied with a smile on her face,
considering who the man might have been in the past. He seemed
to be having some kinf of a retrospection. And she still had
only one trace.
The girl sighed quietly, thinking over all the things
she had experienced in only two days. She was now in a country
she didn't know, with a stranger by her side. In addition, her
memories just faded away leaving no clue. Like Alice in
Wonderland. What could be worse? For now she had no idea about
what will come next, but she could sense something strange in
the air. Some very important things were about to happen. For
sure.

Romanticism:
He looked back at Euphie. "The most important thing
is... I want to know who Sherlock is," he felt the pain in his
voice and his heart. The worst part was he couldn't remember why
it should be so painful. Or, at least, his brain didn't
remember, but the pain in his heart was certainly something he
could only feel for someone close to him.

Modern:
Sherlock paced the room, anxious and confused.
For one of the first times, he had no idea where to begin his
investigations. The boy simply watched him with interest. "What
are you doing?" he asked. Sherlock didn't reply. The boy's...
well, Aang's, shining grey eyes stayed fixed on the pacing
detective. "What's your name?" he asked.

The man huffed, annoyed. But Aang wasn't
happy himself. This man at least had his memories. And Aang felt
as though part of him was missing. He didn't know what, but he
knew it wasn't just his memories. He stared at the glider. He
knew the empty, missing feeling had to do with the glider.
"Sherlock Holmes," snapped the man, and continued pacing,
agitated. Aang could tell he was worried for the man... what was
his name? James? John? yes, John. He was worried about him.
Whoever that was. Well, at least he could remember someone.

Sorry for being unactive for so long :(
Euphie observed John with interest. It was somehow
amazing for her. This man was in quite the same situation, but
kept calm. What is more, he knew his aim and wanted to reach it.
-When I hear how you talk about Sherlock... It seems
like he was very important for you, wasn't he?

John's eyes softened as he looked at Euphie.
"Yes, I think so. I can't remember much, but..." he shrugged,
his heart aching, but he knew not why, or who "Sherlock" even
was.

(I must too apologize for being inactive for some time) :-\
Romantism:
"Why must there be so many unanswered questions?" Uryu thought
to himself as he tried to figure out what they were to do next.
He didn't know these lands and the girl - Toph - who had been
helping him earlier had also disappeared. Now both him and this
other girl, who remained nameless, were trapped in a place they
were unfamiliar with. A village had been mentioned, but where?
Then Uryu got a crazy idea, but it was the only idea he had. He
turned to face the girl (Hermione) and asked her, "You up for an
adventure?"

Mondernity:
Hiccup and Yomi staggered back along the path to Sinbad's home,
where they would lay the unconscious woman and wait for her to
awaken and hopefully get some answers. Once they reached the
house they drug the red haired woman as carefully as they could
to the bed where she would rest. Hiccup locked his gaze with
Yomi's and they came to an unspoken agreement. They needed to
figure out what was going on and most of all how they could fix
their situation. But in the back of their minds they lingered on
the worded question of, 'Why?'

"Well before you showed up there was another girl here and she
had a . . . dragon. It might be the only way we can get to the
village and get help." Uryu explained to the nameless girl. "But
I don't know how the creature will respond to me . . . or you."

"D-dragon?" she asked, something stirring
in her mind. She had a feeling that at least where she came
from, dragons had never been friendly or domestic. And she
didn't like the thought of flying.
