Belle watched the girl suspiciously. Something wasn't right, but
she couldn't put her finger on what it was exactly, so she just
continued to watch, carefully.

Lucy shock her head, it didn't help the dizzyness, but she
couldn't let herself become prey to the magic, she just
couldn't! She noticed Tink flitting above her, doing her best to
sheild her from the onslaught of mystical attacks. Unfortanely,
it wasn't doing much. And the effort of resisting the magic, was
making her weak. Blackness kept trying to take her. She growled
in frustration and pain.

Merida didn't have any magic, but she knew when to trust her
insticts. These two, whoever they were, were central. And she
would not let them get away. "Hey!" she called loudly in their
direction.

Belle didn't know how she knew, but she did. Padme was doing
something to Lucy. Her anger flared and the next thing she knew,
Padme was flat on her back. "What?" Belle whispered, not sure
what had happened.

Edmund and Fakir turned toward the two red-heads. "Yes?" Edmund
asked, annoyed that he could hardly get the other boy to offer
up his name.

Lucy was staring dumbfounded at Belle ontop of Padmae. It was
... weird. Strange, and insane, and wierd. The looks on the
other members of the cabin mirrored her own. "I wonder if
that's how the magic is affeticing her..." Lucy thought. "I want
to trust Padmae, but maybe Belle wants to hurt her. Both could
easily be used to the witch's advantage..." Lucy had started
calling Padmae a witch, unsure of what other title she should
use.

Duck didn't know why Merida had called out to the two men, but
she trusted Merida and her judgment so she just went with it.
But it didn't look like Merida had a plan, neither of them
rarley did. Her friend just had a starteld look on her face,
obvioulsy clueless on what to do next.
Duck didn't have an idea either but she just ended up saying,
"We're not from here. Could you help?" Her innocent question
didnt' match at all with her friends previous gruff and
demanding statement. Plus Duck had no idea what to say next, but
she had learned how to improvise.

Belle pinned Padme on her back and looked into her eyes.
Suddenly, she was able to see all. There were no memory blocks,
no way of stopping her from finding out the truth.

Edmund's eyes narrowed. "I'm not from around here either," he
said. "Sorry."
Fakir took the opportunity to get rid of the leech. "I am. How
can I help you?"

Merida felt the curse lacing her tounge and pushed it back down.
Duck had buyed them a bit of time, but now it was her turn
again. And she needed both of them. "What can I say that will
take both of them where we need to go? - Where the heck is that
anyway?" "Is there some sort of structure or cave outside of
town, but rather close by?" She glanced at Duck and was given a
slight glance that confirmed what she said was okay. Merida
prayed they wouldn't ask to many questions.

For the first time in her life, Padme panicked. She looked up
into Belle's face. Why couldn't she manipulate her? What was
wrong? Her magic had worked on the girl before....and if
mysiticism and disguise wasn't going to work on her now, she
knew what kind of magic would. She turned to Lucy and looked
into the girl's eyes, pain and confusion on her face. "Lucy..."
she called out weakly. "What is going on? What is she doing to
me?" Save me... she sent to Lucy's mind. Get her off of
me...Save me...and I will in turn save you...
Tinkerbell was unable to stop the magic at this point, and
decided to fly to Edmund while her energy was still with her.
Link looked in horror as Lucy's face changed. Something was
happening, and he didn't like the looks of it. Lucy's eyes
changed- they were hostile. She was looking at Belle with hate
and loathing. Before Link could even get a word out, the young
girl was at Belle's throat.

Lucy hated herself. She didn't want to be hurting Belle. She
wanted to be protecting Belle, from the powers of the witch, but
instead she was choking the girl with all her might. Trying to
destroy her and the threat she posed to Padmae. Part of her was
yelling to stop, but most of her was too consumed with bitter
and blind hate at the girl. She hoped someone would stop her,
that her brother would come bursting through the door, anything
to stop her from seriosly hurting the other.
She saw Padmae wiggle free of Belle, as she defended herself
from Lucy's onslaught of attacks. She worried that she would get
away, but most of her was hoping for it. Her mind and body were
so at war and so strained she could feel them collapsing. The
blackness that had been threating had overtaken her finally and
she faded into nothingness.

Padme took one last look at Lucy before she blacked out. Must be
the stress, she thought to herself nonchalantly. As Belle broke
free, she turned to Padme. The look in Belle's eyes was enough
of a warning to the wise enchantress. As Belle lunged forward,
Padme's body seemed to dissappear, and Belle almost ran flat
into the door. Padme reappeared in the village where Edmund and
Fakir were talking. Edmund did not recognizet the twisted old
lady who walked past, but Fakir was able to see through Padme's
disguise. She saw then two red-haired girls talking with the two
boys, and she decided not to act. Instead, she stood back,
sitting in a nearby wooden chair that was so kindly offered by a
small child and acting as though she had no interest in the
scene unfolding before her eyes. She couldn't help but think to
herself, It's just as he said. Everything, even down to the last
detail... Before the young child could run off, she took the
hands in hers. "Take this," she spoke in a crackly old voice.
The child looked down at the beautiful necklace in her hands.
"Wear it well, for it will protect you from harm." The little
girl looked up at Padme with wide eyes, and smiled and thanked
her. Padme turned back to see Fakir giving her a strange look,
while Edmund talked with the two young girls. She smiled at him
and winked, then motioned for him to carry on.
Tinkerbell flew as swiftly as she could. She just had to get to
Edmund! His sister and everyone in the cabin was in grave
danger. As she approached him, she yelled at the top of her
lungs to get his attention. He held his hand out to her, and she
crash landed into it. Danger...the
cabin....Lucy...Belle....Padme.... She looked up and saw Ed's
eyes widen in shock and terror. His face was the last thing she
saw before she collapsed in his hand.
