Zelda helped Link slowly stand up and stood behind him just in
case he would collapse. She looked at the man who had just
entered the door. "Who are you? Have you seen this girl that is
apparently on a killing rampage?"

Merida and Duck were playing by the stream. They both loved the
water. Merida was fishing and Duck was just letting her feet
dangle in the cool stream. It felt good as the water rippled
over them. They were laughing and talking and having a good
time. But they knew it was short lived. Even if they didn't have
to go home in a few hours, they both could feel the danger
brewing.

Edmund breathed in slowly. It would do no good to lose his head.
"Look," he explained to the small group. "I just want to know
where she is so that I can make her undo what she did to my
sister."
Just then, Lucy stepped up beside him. "Calm down, Ed," she
said. "I haven't had all my memories stolen."
The dark haired boy looked at the frail girl in front of him.
She looked like she could barely stand. Over her shoulder, he
could see a very worried Tinkerbell. He sighed. "But we don't
know how, or what memories she's taken," he explained, wrapping
his arms around her.

Belle looked at the sibling reunion, noticing that the girl was
shivering. "Both of you, come inside and warm up. It'll be dark
soon, and you won't be able to see anything anyway," she said.

Lucy smiled and nodded. She must look weaker than she wanted,
but was greatful for the help. She shot Edmund a look, he
returned one.

Belle ushered the two inside and sat Lucy down in front of the

"Thank you." Lucy said to the brunette tending her especially,
but to her hosts in general. But she was far from missing the
ice between her brother and girl. She would have smikred expect
it would have given too much away, plus it hurt. Suddenly she
was looking around, "Where's Tink?" she hissed to her brother.

He looked aroud and didn't see the pixie, so he opened the door
to make sure she wasn't still outside. Tink flitted over to his
shoulder immediately. "There you are," he smiled. Edmund turned
to see three mouths gaping.

Lucy had expected Tink to be more discreeet. But one never knew
with Tinkerbell. She had a tendency to be reckless and stubborn.
She liked to shine and strut her stuff.
Lucy shook her head at her pixie friend, with a small but
degrading smile.

Tink put her hands on her hips and glowed as fiercely as she
could. She loved attention, and now that everyone was more or
less okay, she could show off. She flew over to Belle and landed
on her outstretched hand, giving her a devlish smile and patting
off some pixie dust from her sides. The look of awe on Belle's
face made her feel good inside.
Link smiled. "I haven't seen you guys around. Are you new here?
What brings you here? And I believe the brown haired young woman
you keep telling me about is far away from here by now. The
nearest town is only five minutes away."
The dark haired boy wasn't responding. Is he really that
pathetic? Padme thought to herself. She searched his mind.
"Fakir." She spoke. He looked at her more incredulously. She let
go of his wrist. "Nevermind, then. I thought you were someone of
worth." The last words were meant to sting and get a reaction.
She half turned, feigning to leave him standing there.

Edmund shot his hands into the air in exasperation. "Finally! A
straight answer," he said, doing a little victory dance. He
shook Link's hand, doing his best not to injure the man. "Thank
you. I'll be going now. Lu, can stay here right? I'll be back
soon." He was gone before anyone else in the room could get a
word out.

Fakir didn't know what to do. This ridiculous girl had grabbed
his hands and started asking him stupid questions. How the heck
did she even know his name? When she started walking away, he
finally found his wits. "I see an idiot, that's what," he
answered, crossing his arms.
