Even if there Tink had not been there, providing that faint
glow, Lucy could have found her way to her brother's cell. She
had wound the passages so much, she had every rock and crevece
memorized. She felt a slight twinge at the other girls fear and
sadness. But she didn't have time for such things now.

Padme saw a beautiful girl appear from the shadows, and her eyes
grew big and round from fear. When she realized that the girl
was talking with the boy, who looked a lot like her by the way,
she took a curious interest. Perhaps the girl would help the
boy- Ed, was it?- and in turn, she could escape. She knew her
outlook was grim, and she would do anything to get out of the
cold, dank cell and into the sunlight again.

"Lucy," he cried, tucking her into his jacket. "What are you
doing here? You know it's not safe to travel till the sun sets
and the night guard comes." He'd figured out long ago that the
night guard didn't care one lick about the prisoners, not like
the day guard. It was quite ridiculous. Who would try to escape
during the day?

"Edmund!" she hissed, trying to keep him quite. "Its not safe at
night any more either. Come on! The shift change happens in a
few minutes, we haven't got alot of time." Lucy was impacient
and anxious. She wanted to get out, as soon as possible,
prefearbly with their skins.

Padme listened silently, prepared to follow the people in the
cell with her. If they were getting out, then so was she.

Edmund sighed angrily. He wasn't happy about the slight change
of plans, they weren't planning to escape for another week at
least, but he supposed it was for the best. He nodded and
grabbed Padme's forearm, as well as Lucy's hand. "Lead the way,"
he whispered.

Padme's eyes widened again, and she realized it wasn't an attack
but a friendly grab, encouraging her to follow along. Thank
goodness, she thought, I would have not been very good a
following behind without their knowlege...
She was led through a secret tunnel passageway, and finally
into the moonlight. She breathed in deeply, letting the scent of
freedom fill her lungs.

Edmund noticed a slight tug on his arm when they reached the
outside. He turned to see Padme taking it all in. "We don't have
time right now," he cautioned. "We still have a ways to go till
we're safe. Hang on to my arm and don't let go."

Padme snapped out of her daydream and followed Edmund. How could
she have let herself be so careless? Like he said, they were far
from safe. She hurried along behind him, following closely.

It was sunrise the next day before they allowed themselves to
stop. They set up camp in a small clearing in a rather large
forest. Edmund went off to hunt, leaving the two girls to gather
firewood and find materials to use for a temporary shelter.
