       Are defense units in Arena always max rank?

       Asking this question on behalf of another member.
       Are the defense units we face in the arena always set to max
       rank during an engagement, even if they are less than max in the
       defending player's army?

       As you face other players, the rank of the units are the rank
       this particular player reached with them.
