Sinking the Dreadnought, or Dreadnaught

Please post any tips about how you manage to defeat the new
naval boss.

DST space Buoy space DST
BMC space BMC space BMC
BMC space BMC
Go after the subs after 1 attack on the Dreadnought with the BMC
since they'll do much more damage to your BMC, the DST can 1
shot them or seriously wound them so the BMC can finish them
off. after that just spam the 2x attack on dreadnought
Ranks:
DST R5 (can also be replaced with minelayer thing now)
Buoy R5
BMC R6

Thanks!
Unclear on which BMC attack this is. The first, which hits
three squares across, or the second, which hits along diagonals.

Got it.
My L27 alt has only 3 BMC, so I tried using
DST BOUY BOUY BOUY DST
NIX. BMC. BMC. BMC. NIX
The Boss Boat I faced was L30.
I used the Aztec Plan of Attack, and won, losing one DST.

A detailed Dreadnought set-up, posted in the comments of the
Dreadnought page on the BN wikia site.
I am playing on Steam. I have fought it about six times now.
Closest I got was getting it to 1200hp. I have lots of Pelicans,
2 Atmos, A Tac Sub and M10 and two subs and two mini subs (and
some groupers). This thing is brutal. Best hits are from the
Pelican torpedoes, and it takes fire damage from fire bombing. I
tried to shield them with some Nano units (Tac sub, Ships and
bouy). I even tried hellfire choppers, to set it on fire...low
damage. Best bet...Rank up my Pelicans, Shield them as good as
I can and pray for crit, after crit after crit...I quit trying
for now. Ranking Pelicans half way done (but 2x SP time is over
and update is not out yet, so I am very lonely. Nobody to do
wimpdrops with). Friend me Zenz333 of Clan of the Hand.

Well the repeatable DN is a tough cookie to crack. I fought it
only one time up to now.
You can field 10 units for lvl70 (I don't how how many you can
field is you are under lvl60)
This is my set up:
BMC xxx Buoy xxx BMC
BMC BMC BMC BMC BMC
Minelayer xxx BMC
R8 BMC, R6 Buoy, R5 minelayer
first shot, BMC first attack on DN+sub (left or right)
Second shot I used the minelayer 3rd attack to kill the one sub
still with full HP
Third shot, BMC first attack on DN+remaining sub
following shots, same as third until sub is down
then all I use is BMC second attack (V shape) on DN to send it
to smithereens
Lost 5 BMC
