Let's say that you want to write a topic or reply that contains
a link to this web address (URL):
HTML https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/tD3Os1_DKBSODqfmCdEkYrA/
First, click the 2nd icon in the 2nd row of icons above the edit
box. This will add "[ url][ / url]" --without the spaces-- to
you message. Paste your URL string between the ] and the [.
After adding any text you want in your post, hit the Post button
to save it.
Now hit the Modify button. The link in your post will now look
something like
[url
=
HTML https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/tD3Os1_DKBSODqfmCdEkYrA/]<br
/>
HTML https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/tD3Os1_DKBSODqfmCdEkYrA/[/<br
/>url]
The 2nd part of this text, between ] and [/url], is what is used
for the link title or name.
You can change it to something more meaningful. For example, if
I put, Aztec's Almanac in that section,
[url
=
HTML https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/tD3Os1_DKBSODqfmCdEkYrA/]<br
/>Aztec's Almanac [/ url]
And Save this modification, the link will look like:
Aztec's Almanac
HTML https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/tD3Os1_DKBSODqfmCdEkYrA/
