Trick for getting gold

I'm sure people know about this anyway but here it goes -
I know we have refinement patches to occupy for gold but there
are far more lumber patches around. If you occupy a few though
you can very quickly max out your lumber storage. So before you
go and collect spend some lumber (doesn't matter how much, i
think the cheapest thing is a potted tree which is only 5000
gold and 500 lumber, so you don't lose much of the gold you're
then collecting). You should then be able to collect all the
patches even though you technically max out your storage by
collecting just one patch (57*9=513 lumber), as long as you
don't go back to your base in between collecting patches. If you
occupy more than one base worth of lumber you can easily get
200k each collection. I used the trick to upgrade the ice
factory to lvl 10 without spending any gold.

I think the cheapest way is to upgrade a surburban house buddy
but still same concept. :D

I'm holding a low level so trying not to collect xp/haven't
unlocked them :o gotta think outside the box!

If everyone bunches up their storage buildings they give gold
when occupied
