This comes from a news letter I posted on the BN forum but it
has its place here I think.
When you finish a fight you get a certain amount of SP total,
then that total is divided by the number of different type of
units you have on the field.
Let’s say you gain 2000 SPs total, with 2 types of unit on the
field, each type will earn 1000 SPs,
If you have 3 types of unit on the field, then each type will
earn 666 SPs.
If you want to be efficient in your SP grinding, don't put 4-5-6
different types on the field, I’ve seen some of you doing it
while hitting my garrison, you’re just diluting your SPs and
reaching promotion will take ages. :-\
Let’s work another case : when a plane is ready to promote, and
you are attacking a garrison for example.
You put the plane front row, and the unit you want to promote on
the second row, now if you don't fire the plane at all, you will
get even more SPs for your other unit.
Practical example : 1 plane + 5 agents hitting a garrison. 15
minutes mini SP boost on, double SP event.
Plane and agents fire =1300 SPs each.
Plane not firing and agents firing = 2270 SPs for the agents.
