Re: A New Act, A New City

"Trixie assures you shall be fine on her lonesome. Sh-.. I, am
less recognizable without the hat and cape, which I shall leave
here. I doubt I am going to draw much attention, simply placing
posters about the city." Trixie replied, still smiling, as she
carefully removed her robes and hat, which she folded with care,
and placed into her folded up stage/home, for safekeeping.

"Very well then. I suppose the hat and cape are certainly
attention grabbing. Though I suppose that's the point," he
chuckles, "I'll head to the business district, as I think you
might have a bit of trouble when you get to my place, and I know
a fair amount of the other ponies around the area, so that
should be easy going," he surmised, "want to meet back here
then? Say... a couple of hours? I definitely need to check in at
my store at the very least..." he paused for a moment, looking
puzzled for a moment, "I never did introduce myself, huh? Name's
Ironfire. Blacksmith by profession,"

"Indeed, Trixie hopes that we can meet again to discuss this
further. A few hours certainly sounds reasonable, it will give
T-, Me, time to search the city at a more leisurely pace."
Trixie replied, smiling pleasantly at the stallion assisting
her, and, after a momentary hesitation, offering an azure hoof
to the stallion, as he introduced himself, her own smile one of
genuine happiness to have met a pony so helpful within minutes
of entering the grand city.

Accepting the hoof in a strong shake, Ironfire returned the
mare's smile, "with that out of the way, I'll get to it then,"
he looked towards the posters, using his magic to grab a stack,
"if you'd like some time to look around, feel free. You could
always swing by my forge later if you'd prefer. Means I won't be
waiting around and you won't be rushed," he offered, making a
mental list of any potential small jobs he could get out of the
way if the opportunity arose.

"Very well, Trixie will keep that in mind, Ironfire. It would be
good to know where your forge is, anyway, in case she ever
requires the services of a skilled blacksmith. For now though,
goodbye." The azure mare replied, smiling widely at the stallion
as he scooped up some posters, her own magic picking up the rest
and levitating them towards her, as she turned and set off into
the streets of Canterlot, a smile of anticipation on her pretty
face.

"In that case, I shall see you later," he smiled, turning to set
off towards his destination, posters in tow, "hope you don't run
into any trouble,"

"And you as well, Ironfire." Trixie replied, turning her head to
smile thankfully at the stallion behind her, before she began to
make her way towards the more noble and artistic districts of
Canterlot, in search of places to hang her posters.
