Far Fletched is a brownish-orange mare with a short mane and
tail and blue eyes. She is usually seen wearing a forest green
cloak, carrying a bow, as well as a quiver of arrows. Her cutie
mark is an arrow in flight.
Special Talent: Siren can magically enhance her arrows,
enchanting them to affect how the arrow will behave. She can get
very creative with some of these enhancements and the following
are a few examples of what she can do, but is by no means
limited to.
Concussion Arrow
- Charges the arrowhead with unstable magic that explodes
violently upon contact with its target.
Flame Arrow
- Sets the arrowhead on fire.
Gust Arrow
- Enchants the flight feathers to create a gale force tail wind
that follows the path of the arrow.
Arcane Missile Arrow
- Enchants the arrow to act like a Magic Missile, following its
target, but losing a good deal of its force if it needs to turn
too sharply. Also cannot go through barriers, unlike a Magic
Missile.
Siren Arrow
- Enchants the flight feathers to produce a loud banshee-like
shrieking noise as it flies.
Flare-row
- Enchants the arrow head to emit a bright flash of light upon
impact.

Bio: Since she was young, Far Fletched had a fascination with
archery as a sport. Her father competed in various tournaments
across Equestria, bringing his daughter along with him to watch
and cheer him on. As soon as she was able to control her magic,
the first thing she tried to pick up was her father's bow, and
since then, she had begun looking for every single chance she
could get to practice her shooting with her dad.
When they weren't travelling Equestria, they were working
together in the Bow and Fletcher in Hoofington, working to
create custom bows and high quality arrows for sports ponies and
hunters. When she turned sixteen, she made her own recurve bow
and arrows and entered herself in a few competitions, figuring
that she would get her cutie mark in competition archery like
her father. This was not the case, as she could barely hit a
target consistently at 30 meters, and went home disappointed.
Then followed a year of depression, having failed miserably at
her lifelong dream to be like her father. She didn't give up the
sport, still practicing at the range in the shop, though more as
an outlet of her frustration. During one of these practice
sessions, Far accidentally imbued her arrows with fire and
nearly burned down the family shop. Being caught up in the
excitement that usually follows setting something big and
flammable on fire, she noticed she had earned her cutie mark in
arrow enhancement.
Afterwards, she spent the rest of her time until present day
practicing and experimenting with different enchantments she
could put on her arrows, sometimes getting incredibly creative
or cheeky. Her effective range remained as it always had, having
to really concentrate to hit 30 meters, but now that she was
having fun with it again it didn't matter to her anymore. She
grew up, and started dating a stallion who gave her the pet-name
"Siren", as her voice to him was beautiful enough to rival those
of the mythical creatures, that was before they dragged you
under the waves to your untimely demise.
Unfortunately, that was exactly what happened to her coltfriend,
having disappeared after a trip into the woods. Far Fletched
took this loss incredibly hard, spending months in a state of
depression once more before she decided that she had to find a
way to keep her mind off of those kinds of things. She began to
travel at that point, working for the Crown Military as a
reconnaissance pony every so often to check up on Equestria's
bordering nations, though for the most part, she is a
freelancer, roaming the hills, valleys, and forests, her lonely
songs carrying through the lands as she wandered alone.
