Hex's face drops in mock hurt when Snowflake says they look the
same. Like a puppy that has just been kicked. His face reverts
as he talks, though. "My train leaves midday tomorrow. I
wouldn't even be staying here tonight if the train hadn't come
in too late to find an inn or hotel or whatever you call them in
this day and age. Any good ones around?"

In Capella's room, he quickly runs over all his works in
progress with his eyes. One commission, the rest personal
projects for fun or advertisement. All but two of the personal
ones he gathers up and shuffles into a pile and places them face
down to the side of his work area with the ones he doesn't mind
displaying centered within it. Well, that should keep
What's-his-bucket occupied if he decides to come in and view his
work. Finished pictures and professional WIPs are one thing,
but personal WIPs...they're...different. And he always has his
full portfolio if Hex wants to see that.
Now, then, on to business. His vest comes off, followed by his
white dress shirt. That goes into his little-used laundry
basket for later cleaning while he puts his vest back on with
its many jangly pockets. Alright, all done. He kicks the bed
on the way out, softly, a little routine he got into at some
       point.

"Y'know, Oi told ya ya could stay 'ere as long as ya needed,
roigh'?" Snow responded to Hex immediately, starting to wonder
if he was purposefully turning down her hospitality - now
wouldn't that be insulting - in favor of a more secluded and
probably more filthy hotel room. Even if Snow were to let him go
out and rent his own hotel room, chances were her flatmate would
not approve of her just kicking his brother to the curb, "An'
Cappy did off'r ya his room, Oi think, so ya go' no reason
t'jus' up an' leave on us. If yer gonna wanna leave jus' loike
tha', yer gonna 'ave t'tawlk t'yer broth'r there. If 'e's okay
wi' i' then, then Oi'll poin' ya in th'direction of th'least
       trashy hotel."
Snowflake yawned a little as she stretched in her recliner, "Ya
be'r hurry up an' do tha' though, love. I's late, an' Oi usually
ge' moi forty winks a' this toime, an' if yer sleepin' on
       th'couch, Oi'm gonna 'ave t'getcha th'spare sheets an' blanke's
       an' wotno'."

Hex smiles, a somewhat ironic smile. "I heard you offer, and I
gladly accept your offer. I certainly didn't mean any offense. I
was just asking for future reference, and because thinking about
it made me curious, and becoming curious made me ask. That, and
I'm not terribly good at talking. If you've been around Captain
Bart long, you've probably experienced firsthoof our scathingly
       amazing conversational skills."
He looks up as his bevested rival approaches from the shadow of
his lair. Doing something sinister, no doubt. "Well, it looks
like the bed in question has probably been adequately prepared
for my demise. You use any snakes this time, Morty?"

"Pfft. Snakes are so two minutes ago, Adecimal. Meaning yes,
yes I did," the villain in question responds with an evil smirk.
"Snakes, a bear trap, and 349 pounds of yogurt. Would be two
more, but I devoured them. The toppings contain potassium
benzoate. Will you be availing yourself of it now or later?
And what time are you leaving tomorrow?" He heads back into the
kitchen and puts together some fixins for a sandwich. The night
may be getting on, but it's still the middle of his waking cycle
       right now, and he's hungry.

Hex stifles a yawn. "I'll just go now. I don't really need the
beauty sleep, but maybe I'll somehow become more handsome
anyway. And I'm sure the yogurt will do wonders for my
complexion. My train leaves around noon, I think." He turns to
the mare in the chair and inclines his head slightly. "Thanks
again, Miss Snowflake. Good night." He walks to the room,
calling behind him "If I don't come back, avenge my death."
       The door closes behind him.
