Snow chuckled to herself as Capella made a little jab that both
she and Hex were starting to hit it off, making a little smart
comment about how he didn't have a camera to film them making
out. Responding with a snappy quip of her own, she said, "Won'
do ya much good when ya ge' yaself awll hot an' bothered jus'
watchin' an' forget to actually use th'bloody contraption, eh?"
Giving Capella a bit of a sly grin as he passed by her to get
himself a drink of chocolate milk.
As Snowflake set about getting some tea for the three of them,
she spoke up in response to Hex's not planning on staying the
night, "Naw, naw, i's no trouble a' awll, love. Moind ya, we
don' really 'ave anymore rooms t'spare, bu' there's always th'
couch 'ere. Spen' a few good noights there m'self when Oi was

watchin' was so terribad tha' Oi figured i' bett'r to ge' moi
forty winks in." After setting the kettle on the stove, she
walked over to the living room area, sitting on the recliner
that she sat in when she first interviewed Capella when he was
looking for residency here, "Course, awll tha' would be left
t'get ya would be a sui'able blanke' an' a pillow, Oi'll jus'
'ave t'remember t'do tha' for ya before Oi cawll i' a noigh'."
"Aws fo' tha' story there..." she canted her head casually
before continuing, "Oi was so koind as t'troi se'in' up ol'
Cappy wi' a bi' of a date when Oi took 'im t'th'club, sent a
looker of a peggysus 'is way to 'ave a li'l chat wi' i'm an see

t'say th'poor bugger roigh' up an froze on th'spo', Oi swear 'e
could'a passed for a livin' statue too, 'e paled so much jus'
lookin' a' 'er. Course, th'only thing 'e seemed int'rested in

A. decides to let that comment slip by, not knowing if a refute
would be true or not. He drinks half the glass pretty quickly
before refilling it, the jug afterward going back into the
fridge. "Or if tea's not your speed, Hedron, we have a whole
slew of other drinks in the fridge. Punch, chocolate milk, pop,
etc. If I'd known you were coming...well, I may or may not have
baked a cake," he rattles off as he returns to the main room.
"...Actually, yeah, I would have. Any excuse I get."
"Or," he says, sitting back on the couch where he'd sat when
Snow had interviewed him, leaning sideways and taking up a
cushion and a half, "you could take my bed for tonight. It's
been a while since I've taken a cloud snooze, and these wings
aren't just for show." Of course, then it might be kinda cool
to sleep that high up, and clouds aren't known for being
particularly warm...but for that, too, his feathers weren't just
decorations. "Better yet, sleep on the ceiling. That'd be a
neat trick."
Schwambart coughs politely and sips at his drink, ruffling his
feathers restlessly as they jab at him via asking for the story
and the story itself. Maybe he'd show them another use for his
feathers...
He pales quite noticeably when she mentions the alcohol. "I
didn't know it was alcoholic, I swear!" he protests, sitting up
straighter and looking shamefacedly at his twin brother. "It
was all butterscotchy and chocolate, I couldn't tell! And that
table was nothing to scoff at," he continues, regaining a bit of
his humor. "Think it'll take me back? Oh, I didn't get its
number." He shakes his head in mock regret. "Our love would
have been so beautiful..."

"Well, I thank you most kindly for the offer; I'm not terribly
fond of sleeping outside, I'll tell you, unless I have a tent
and a sleeping bag. Both of which I neglected to pack as I
wasn't planning on needing them."
Hex listens intently as Snow weaves the enchanting tale of his
twin's misadventures in the Cave of Social Interaction until she
mentions his apparent interest in alcohol, at which point he
starts staring at Capella, eyebrow arched so high they could
probably plonk it next to the sea and mount a light to it. He
seems less consternated as the excuseplanation is offered up.
"Wait a minute, chocolate butterscotch drink? That sounds
TERRIBLE." He turns back to the mare. It doesn't seem as though
he's entirely let go of the matter, but he moves on anyway.
"Well, I just figured I'd pursue this job offer I've gotten in
Canterlot. I mean, it would seem a little rude after applying
and all."
He smirks back at Capella. "The table? I suppose that could be
considered wonderful news, if you could find it again. What will
you tell the chair you had back home, though? It'll be
heartbroken."

"Believe i' or no', bu' buh'rscotch an' chocolate mixed wi'
alcohol, or a dir'y cowpony, is awctually pre'y good," Snowflake
began, defending Schwambart's drink of choice even if he didn't
end up finishing it, "O'course, as soon as 'e found ou' tha' i'
was alcoholic, Oi 'ad t'finish i' for 'im, so Oi would know, bu'
Oi go'a figure ou' 'ow t'make tha' koinda drink for ya someday
if ya really enjoy i'." Snow didn't really seem all too amused
about the fact that Capella was going back to the subject of the
table, and simply rolled her eyes and shook her head with a sigh
as he went back to it.
"Oi really 'ope he doesn' go back t'tha' table there, i' prolly
'as a dir'y past, an' 'as defini'ly seen more than i's fair
share a' parties gone wrong. Cawn ya 'magine wot tha' table's

'avin' a look un'a i'. Prolly a good amoun' a bad things ya dun'
wan' stickin' to ya aft'r a bi' of feelin' around und'r
there..." Yeah, this was why Schwambart needed these dating
lessons horribly, so he didn't go out catching diseases from
making out with trashy party tables.
Still, there was something that Hex called Capella before he
came into the door, "Oy, wot did'ja cawll Cappy before 'ere?
'Arry'? Cappy, wot's ya first name? Oi cawn' rememb'r if ya told

"Naw," A. says, giving a dismissive wave of his hoof. "The
chair will do fine without me. I'm pretty sure it's had its eye
on the lamp for a while now, anyway. I was just getting in the
way. Snow has a point, too, though. Just imagine all the one
nightstands that table might have had before me," he puns.
"Probably best to forget." He heaves an overly dramatic sigh
and shakes his head sadly.
"I didn't say. Just A. is fine. Yeah, Hex, why didn't you tell
me you were getting a *real* job?" he says to the other
Schwambart, giving him a warning look as he tries to plow past
the question concerning his name, ruffling his feathers
defensively. If he tells her, he swears...

"Oh", Hex says, waving his hoof dismissively, "just some
secretarial work, mainly notating and such. Nothing to be
excited about, certainly, but it's steady work."
An evil grin spreads across his face, watching his twin. "You
want to know why I called him Arry?" He resets his face to a
serious expression and starts walking, taking a roundabout route
through the area that takes him around Capella and eventually to
the right of the recliner Snowflake is sitting in, talking all
the while. "This may come as a shock to you, but this pegasus
before you is actually a hardened criminal. Master of plots and
subplots, not to mention schemes and plans withing plans, this
green nightmare has eluded the authorities for years, and is
perhaps the only one ever to outsmart Equestria's finest
detective, Sherclop Pones." He points dramatically at the vested
villain, triumph and laughter in his eyes. "Yes, the one you
have accepted under your roof is the dreaded Arty Morty!!!!!!!!"

Snowflake watched as Hex walked over, taking the long way around
her chair as he approached Snowflake, building up suspense for
what would no doubt be a big and dramatic reveal. Who was
Capella really? Was he a some sort of vagabond with who was
known by his first name? Was he a part of some secret
organization that recognized each other by their first initial
for some reason? Was he some sort of masked marauder who went
about leaving his first initial in odd places near where he
performs various daring acts of bravery and chivalry while he
got all of the ladies-- wait, it's Capella, nevermind.
Who could he actually be then? The reveal would no doubt happen
sooner or later, and with Hex standing right next to her, he had
succeeded in increasing the tension. Who was Capella? Why, he
was the dreaded... Arty Morty? Snowflake stared at Hex with a
rather blank expression for a few seconds, awkwardly shifting
her glance to Capella before looking back at Hex, sniffling a
little as she scratched the back of her head and asked Hex,
"Umm... wot's... an Arr'y Mor'y? And, uh, 'ave you been
drinkin'?"

Capella buries his head in his hooves as Hex begins walking into
the room, sure that he's going to give away his secret. If he
does, oh the great revenge he'll have. He'll need some glue and
some scissors, maybe a walkie-talkie...
But wait. No? That sounds an awful lot like a lead-in to...the
Sherclop Pones drop drives it home for him. He starts laughing
quietly and lifts his face, still one hoof over it before it
falls back down to his glass, which he puts to his lips to sip
from. He doesn't succeed, his laughing stopping him from doing
so without fearing that he'd drop it and spill or something, so
he just lowers it back down to rest on the arm of the couch
again.
He meet's Snow's eyes and can't help laughing harder, stifling
it behind a hoof. "N-no, no, heh. No, he's not drunk. Not
sane, but not drunk, either. Hah...caught me off-guard with
that one, Hex," he says before calming enough to drink the rest
of it down. He stands and begins walking to the kitchen with
his glass to rinse it out. "Would I be right in assuming you
know who Sherclop Pones is, though?" he asks over the rush of
the faucet. "His nemesis is Moriarty, and his name was mutated
in a film for comedic effect. One of my favorite moments in any
film, I think." He shuts the water off and places the glass on
the drainboard, then walks back to the room. He doesn't stop
there, though, headed off in the direction of the hallway. "Be
right back, I've gotta get this shirt off," he tosses back
before going into his room and closing the door behind him.

Hex chortles. "Yeah, he explained it well enough. No, I haven't
been drinking, unlike brother dearest over there. Which I'll be
sure to rub in his face every chance I get," he says loudly
enough for his twin to hear. He looks around the room, standing
awkwardly where he had stopped, still chuckling at his comedic
masterpiece which apparently had not been quite as much of a hit
with his secondary audience as with his intended one. "Sorry
about the inside joke. We tend to do that, and our jokes are
generally more inside than most, with how well we understand
each other. And the fact that we're interested in most of the
same stuff." The corner of his lip twitches upwards. "Although
with how alike we are, it's a surprise how much better-looking I
am, isn't it?"

Snowflake looked back over to Capella as he tired to explain the
joke to her, but he may as well have been explaining it to the
table he was so interested in back at the club, even if it was a
more terrible listener than she was. She had never grown up
watching any sort of "Sherclop Pones" or whatever it was, and
was even more out of the loop for the joke than ever. Well, all
she could really do was pretend that she got it then. With a
forced smile, she chuckled a little awkwardly and said, "Uh huh,
suuure... Sherclop Pones. Don' really know much abou' 'im,
sooo... yeah." Snowflake, rubbed her shoulder awkwardly before
watching Capella leave and wondering why he needed to change
into yet another shirt, or why he even needs a shirt in the
first place.
She looked back up to Hex as he spoke to her, claiming that he
was much better looking than his twin brother. As confusing of a
statement that was, Snow responded, "Eh... s'a ma'er of opinion,
swee'hear'. Ya both look th'same t'me. So, uh, how long d'ya
need t'stay? Oi'll prolly end up ge'in' some more groceries
