       Danger Close

       Name: Danger Close.
       Race: Gryphon.
       Gender:  Male.
       Age: 20
       Physical Description: Danger is a young gryphon of relatively
       average height and size (although he is a little on the scrawny
       side for a gryphon), his body not particularly unique, save for
       a single missing finger on his right hand, and several tiny
       scars and burn scars, mostly on his chest, with a few about his
       face as well. Each of these injuries is evidence of a lesson the
       young gryphon has learned well, about his chosen craft.
       His feathered upper body is a dark, chocolate brown, whilst his
       fur and chest/lower body, are a much paler shade of the same
       colour, so pale as to be nearly white.
       Special Talent: Although he's not a pony, Danger's talents lie
       in the creation, use and diffusing of explosives of all kinds.
       In more recent years, he applies these talents as a breaching,
       demolitions and bomb-disposal expert, in the Canterlot Royal
       Guard.
       Likes: Tinkering with his explosives, big explosions, performing
       his work skilfully, female gryphons (petite ones in particular),
       protecting Equestria and doing his duty, chocolate, junk food in
       general, making new friends, hanging out with his friends.
       
       Dislikes: Failing, being reminded of his failings, injuring
       himself or others as a result of his failings, overly stuck-up
       or bigoted ponies, unnecessary fatalities, others insulting his
       cooking, his old name.
       Strengths: Explosives expert and skilled demolitionist,
       relatively fast on his feet and wings, sharp eyes and good
       senses for danger, and how best to avoid it.
       Relatively dextrous with his hands and tail, and can play the
       guitar relatively well. Can eat just about anything and enjoy
       it, as evidenced by his ability to eat his own awful cooking.
       Having injured himself very often while carrying out his work,
       Danger has a relatively high pain tolerance, and surprisingly
       fast healing, as well as a modest level of toughness, the
       injured gryphon having dragged himself to a nearby medical
       centre after a misfire, more than a couple of times.
       Weaknesses: Often overconfident and overly proud of his skills,
       not particularly strong or athletic, can sometimes (often)
       injure himself with his unstable and experimental new
       explosives.
       Can't cook to save his life, is convinced he cooks quite well,
       can be a bit lazy, when it comes to things other than his work.
       Fears: Danger doesn't fear much, except his failures resulting
       in the deaths of others, such as by his failure to defuse a
       bomb, or the misfiring of one of his explosives.
       His only other phobia, is that he intensely dislikes spaces too
       small for him to stretch his wings, as he is mildly
       claustrophobic.
       Bio: The youngest son (of two) of his single mother, (a
       constantly-busy Gryphon engineer) Danger moved to Equestria at
       quite a young age to find work, changing his name (from Floyd)
       to one he felt was more fitting. And more awesome.
       After deciding that the Royal Guard was the only career that
       would allow him to blow things up whilst still helping ponies,
       Danger signed up immediately, and although his performance was
       never a little better than a pass in most areas, his knowledge
       of explosives helped him advance rather rapidly to his current
       position.
