Misty gave a slight nod and a grin to Jazz when she said she was
alright before glancing down to Clairvoyant to see if he had
anything to say... But all he seemed content on doing was
leaning against Jazz. She opened her mouth to speak before
glancing over to the mare again when she mentioned needing to
check up on Clarity. Misty stared for a moment before shrugging
slightly, obviously not bothered at all by that. "Uh... 'Kay,
Mrs. Jay. You didn't really hafta run that by me. S'not like I'm
gonna be like 'noooooooo, you can't go check up on your
daughter! I need all the attention!'," she said in a
self-mocking voice before giggling and stepping a little to the
side for Jazz to move.

Clarity waves the chaperon away with a hoof just in time to see
Haywire's refusal...his refusal? Nopony EVER turned her down
when she asked them to dance. In fact, ponies usually asked
her. This...this is a new experience. She's not sure she likes
it, though that could just be the pounding in her head affecting
her judgement.
Whatever it is, though, it makes her not feel like dealing with
it right now. She forces a smile and waves dismissively at him.
"Alright, suit yourself. I'm gonna go lie down for a bit
before the dancing starts. Get me after the dance and I'll help
you...get your stuff back to where...whatever." She finishes
off her sentence with just a general...whatever. Brain...not
working. Need...lie down.
She downs another glass of punch and begins walking off towards
the edge of the park. She meets with Jazz and Clair on the way
over. Oh, and that mare is with them, too. "Oh, hey...J-mom,
I'm just gonna...lie down for a bit...you gonna be ready for the
dance in...six minutes?" The meeting doesn't stop her
inexorable walk towards the edge of the park and its soft,
wonderful grass...

Despite her concern for Clarity, Jazz grins at Misty. "Well
excuse me for not just walking away without saying anything.
I'll be sure to do that next time." Seeing Clarity start walking
in their general direction, she turns and walks to meet her.
"Clarity, are you okay?" She asks her smile fading now when the
younger pony seems to not hear her and almost shouts that she's
going to go lay down. Now more worried, Jazz puts a hoof on
Clarity's shoulder to stop her from leaving. "Are you feeling
alright?"

When Jazz starts talking to Clarity, who's still talking really
loud for some reason, a wave of pain hits him. It's a dull,
throbbing pain in his head that mirrors one in his sister. He
puts out a hoof to find her head before staggering back until
the pain stops, giving a sigh of relief. He's glad Mom can't
feel that like he can. That's quite a headache she has. Almost
as bad as when she found that hammer...

Misty turned to follow behind Jazz as she moved to meet Clarity,
a little curious on the situation--and really not having much
better to do. Besides that, she was interested in getting to
know the blind dude a little better, since he was the most
intriguing pony there at the dance. She stood a little behind
the others as she watched and listened to the scene, only to
blink as Clairvoyant stumbled backwards, almost right up to her.
When he stopped, she closed the distance between them and set a
gentle hoof on his shoulder as she spoke. "Whoa, Clairdude, you
alright? You get dizzy or somethin' all of a sudden? Have you
eaten yet?"

"What? You too, J-mom? Why is everypony being so quiet? I
can't hear you!" Clarity says irritably (and loudly). "If
you're going to bother me, you could at least try to do so
intelligibly." She swats Jazz's hoof away from her shoulder and
makes to keep walking. "But could you maybe get me an aspirin
or something? My head hurts like the dickens."

Clair leans into Misty's hoof still slightly unsteady on his
own. He shakes his head and points in the direction of
Clarity's voice, ears flattening against his head at the volume
of it. He frowns concernedly, still staring forward, and points
at her again, then to her head, then makes a crushing motion
with his hooves, hoping he gets his idea across right. He isn't
used to talking to ponies without somepony's help, and Mom and
Clarity seem to be a little bit busy to help him...that thought
scares him.

Misty blinked a little bit as Clair pointed a hoof out to
Clarity, a little 'ooh' escaping her as he began making a couple
of motions towards her. "I love charades~," she said as she
watched him, only to hum quietly in thought as she tried to
figure out what he was trying to say. He pointed at Clarity, so
it was about her... He rose his hoof up after that while still
pointing at her, so... something about her head... and then he
crushed his hooves together... "I got it!" she said, a hoof
wrapping around his shoulders to help steady him since he was
obviously a little shaky on his hooves. "Clarity's getting the
ability to crush things with her mind! That's so cool! I wish I
could do that!"

Jazz frowns when Clarity slaps her hoof away. Okay, something
was definitely wrong. She steps after the young mare, reaching
out for her shoulder again. "Clarity, stop." She says, much more
loudly this time.

Clarity stops with Jazz's hoof reconnecting with her shoulder
and the authoritative tone in her voice (it probably also helped
that she was louder this time). "Hm? What is it, J-mom?" she
asks, head down at the irritation she reads from her adoptive
mother. Now that she thinks about it, did she...really...just
hit her mother's hoof away? Ooh...she wouldn't like that...
