A Courier's work is Never Done.
By: Talyserra Date: December 27, 2014, 11:57 pm

( Just an open thread, and a chance to use Taly. Anyone's
welcome..)
Talyserra landed nimbly on the ground, an all night long
distance flight from the crystal empire. Whew! Done with that
run for the night. She could, if she imagined, just see
Celestia raising the sun in the distance, if she looked close
enough....She peered at the castle but had to look away, her
night adjusted eyes seeing spots as she shook her head slowly,
her fluffy-tipped ears twitching lightly as she moved away form
the base. She was tired, but not tired enough to find suitable
lodgings for the day, so she decided she would see Canterlot by
day! She looked at the day guards curiously, blanching lightly
at the thought of meeting Mana and Thunder again....They were
not unpleasant but she still felt a little...weary of them.
Looking about as she strolled, her blue armor, chased with
silver as it was, catching the light and glinting as she
observed a much more active canterlot castle, having not yet
left the grounds, she began to poke around, following her nose
into trouble.

Agilene, with toast hanging from her mouth, made a hard landing
on the ground following behind an armored bat pony whom she did
not notice. For once in a long time, she was late for something.
The sale at the Canterlot marketplace, where for once her
favorite accessories and goods were at a cheap price. As she
ran, the light from the sun shined at Agilene's face. She
reacted by shutting her eyes. Though her eyes were protected by
the bright sunlight, she couldn't see her way forward. This
caused Agilene to collide into something - or somepony. She
didn't see who or what it was, but it felt like she crashed into
something wearing metal.

Taly wasn't paying too much attention herself, so when the
bumping into came, she would blink, stumbling just a bit, her
frame more for flying and slashing than taking pony-bumps!
"Er.." She said softly, turning to look at Agilene. "I'm sorry,
I wasn't quite looking where I was going.." She said softly, her
tail flicking left and right. "Are you alright?"

The fallen pegasus let out a soft groan as she lay on her back.
Upon sitting up and standing on all fours, the first thing that
came to mind was whom she collided with. Agilene turned a bit
and noticed an armored bat pony next to her. She soon realized
it may be a royal guard, so as if on instinct, she apologized,
"I am sorry, ma'am, for I was not aware you were near by."

Taly tilted her head at Agilene her armor was an azure blue with
silver chasing, light, good for deflecting strikes but not
perhaps taking them. "It's alright. No harm done." She said
cheerfully fluffing her wings. "I'm Talyserra. Who might you
be?"

Agilene wiped the dirt that accumulated on her feathers and legs
as she fell. Afterwards, she turned to Talyserra, "I'm Agilene.
I was on my way to the city until this predicament occurred."
Adjusting her teal backpack, she looked towards the direction
she was headed for, "There is a sale happening in the
marketplace, are you aware of it?"
