Potato smiles in relief as Niv agrees to travel with for a while
longer. Honestly, Potato wasn't sure why he wanted Nivalia to
stay. "Yeah, ok. I think there's a place to get food over there.
Probably not the best, considering its just a train station
concession stand." Potato says, pointing at a small building
separated from the main ticket station. "But I'll pay, my
treat." Potato adds, trotting over to the building.

Nivalia looks over to the booth, "Why, paying for a lady's
concession food, you are such the gentlecolt." She giggles as
Caprica remains still the entire time, tongue flicking in the
air. "Of course then. I should warn you I have very expensive
tastes when it comes to funnel cakes and fried chocolate on a
fried pretzel stick dipped in fried butter." Nivalia pauses as
she looks around, "Also, I know you can't tell me what you're
really doing, but can you at least give me hint as to where it
is?"

Potato shakes his head. "I'd rather not. But, I don't mind if
you want expensive junk food. I have plenty of bits." Potato was
actually most likely to run out of bits soon, but that was no
concern of Nivalia's. One the two ponies and their snake
accomplish reach the stand Potato quickly browses the menu, of
which consists of only fried food, and asks Niv "What do you
want? Fried potatoes? Potato chips? French fries? Funnel cake?"
listing off some of the menu options, all of which were likely
to cause diarrhea.

Nivalia scans over the menu for what to eat. "Hmmm, lets see...
I'll just have a funnel cake for now." She steps aside to let
Potato Ponie make his choice and pay for the order. As she does
though she notices some movement by some crates behind the
stall. The mare turns to Caprica, who has already noticed and is
pointing her nose in the exact direction. "Capri." Nivalia
whispers, "Ir a cazar (go hunting)." With that the python slowly
makes her way off the mare and slithers off without notice over
to the crates. Just like that she disappears and the scene is
quiet for now.

Potato nods at Niv's order and places his own order of french
fries before paying. He then has to wait a minute with Nivalia
as they get the food ready. "So... Do you just let her... Kill
things? Just like that?" Potato asks Niv as Caprica slips behind
some crates, assuming Niv said that Caprica can hunt over there,
obviously uncomfortable with the idea of Caprica just randomly
killing things.

Nivalia let's out a small sigh as Potato Ponie asks his
question, the topic about her snake obviously one that she's
encountered before. "Caprica... is a living being, just like you
and I. And like you and I, she needs to eat as well; her diet
consists of rodents, birds, amphibians and small reptiles." The
mare pauses, thinking about how to continue her explanation.
"Normally I would give her frozen food, obviously I would thaw
it of course, but in places and times where I can't I have to
make due with what's available. Does she have to kill her prey?
Of course. Is it a pretty sight? No, it's not; but it's
something that's necessary." Nivalia's tone becomes more stern
as she concludes, "But I will not send her out to kill or even
hurt anything if it's not necessary. If she's fed then she stays
with me the whole time and she behaves as such. Potato I will
tell you now, I have trained her since she was a baby and I
trust her to not cause any violence no matter how hungry she
gets, but I never as her owner let it get to that point." She
turns to the caped pony, "I understand your concern, and you
have every right to be. But Caprica is a good girl, and she'll
behave no matter what. Unless you threaten her or me in which
case... well you remember what happened at that train station in
Ponyville."
After a brief pause, Caprica slithers out of the cover of the
crates and slides over to the two, her belly appearing to be
quite larger than the rest of her body. Nivalia lowers her front
hoof, "There you are!" She says as if talking to a small kitten,
"Aw look at your fat belly. You're so fat!" She nuzzles the
pythons as she slithers around her shoulders and just droop down
due to after meal laziness.

Potato is quiet after Nivalia's "speech." He's a little...
Disturbed by all that, especially Niv nuzzling Caprica with a
dead animal visibly sticking out of her belly. After a second,
their orders are ready, and Potato quickly gets them. "Here's
you funnel cake." Potato says, giving Nivalia her funnel cake.
He then puts a couple of french fries into his own mouth before
saying to his compatriot, his mouth still full, "Well, I see
your point. I've just never liked killing. I don't see a point
in anything ending anther things life. I guess its different for
animals that eat meat, but, still. Not something I'm comfortable
with." He then swallows his bite of french fries.

Nivalia takes the funnel cake and has a bite as Potato Ponie
expresses his discomfort. "Fair point. How about this? I'll have
her take her meals in private; I can use a code word or
something that way you can get some space." The mare nibbles on
her food as Caprica shifts around, eventually slithering into
the bag to curl up and rest. Nivalia looks over to the caped
pony, "Sorry for making you uncomfortable, it's happened before.
Actually I get mixed reactions from others. Some are grossed
out, some actually ask for her for pest control." She shrugs and
returns to her funnel cake, "To each their own I guess."

Potato thinks Nivalia's suggestion over for a second, stuffing
more french fries in his mouth. "Yeah, that would work. But,
really, its not a big deal. Its just me and my weird ideals."
Potato says after swallowing his food. "So, you wanna sit here
and talk until we're done eating or head on our way? I'm fine
with both, no rush to get where I'm going." PoPo then asks,
thinking Niv might prefer one over the other.

Nivalia takes a larger bite of her funnel cake, chewing it for a
moment before speaking, "We can finish our food first. I'm not
in a rush either." She looks down, shifting her treat around in
silence before glancing back to Potato Ponie, "Oh, and I don't
think your ideals are weird; there are some ponies I know who
would benefit greatly if they took on that mindset. I know I'm a
bit of a hot head but I don't like fighting; arguing perhaps, I
do like a good healthy debate. But physical violence... there's
only so much one can take I guess."
