Clair keeps leaning against Jazz through the introduction,
giving a nod at the introductions. Another name that, of
course, he would remember but probably never get to use. Oh
well. Maybe now Mom could talk to Samiel, because he's just not
sure what to be saying. Regardless, maybe he could go back to
reading his book. It was getting interesting, and...
His ear twitches when another voice chimes in. He knows that
voice. It's Chord. Who knew? He certainly hadn't expected to
hear her here. He nods again before leaning a bit harder into
       Jazz, still smiling.

"What's it for?" Samiel asks as he leans back against his seat.
He pauses for a moment to consider his answer, then concludes
his thinking with a quick adjustment of his eye wear. "I suppose
this would be a personal venture. The idea came to me during my
meditations. My long term investments are yielding a profit so
funds aren't a concern." The pegasus looks down on his notes,
"If I am able to construct this thing then maybe I can duplicate
it. Then send them across the world to every nation, in every
capital and major city for everyone to see." Samiel shrugs,
looking back at the others, "Or I can make them smaller and even
larger numbers to sell individually. I don't know, I should
probably build this first before making any choices like that."
He places his hoof on the globe still on the table before
picking it up. "I shall return this to where I found it, excuse
me." The stallion gets up and walks over to the book section
where he got the globe and places it back to where it belongs.

"Wait, wh-what does it do?" Chord asks. "Is it like a globe or
       something?"

Jazz looks down at the sketch as Samiel explains what it is. It
really was an ambitious project, if the stallion intends to put
it in capital cities all over the world. Even with the funding
she's sure that's going to take a lot of work, and he doesn't
even have one of the things built yet. Still, if he can pull it
off she's sure it will look amazing, so she'll have to keep an
eye out for it. The white coated mare nods at Samiel as he goes
off to put the globe back in it's place, and she turns toward
Chord. She doesn't remember the young pegasus being that nervous
the first time they'd met. Maybe something was wrong with her?
"Are you okay?" She asks the younger mare, frowning slightly in
       concern.

Clair lets the conversation flow around him, being as
unobtrusive as he can. It's nothing new to him, of course.
Maybe he could get back to his book. He couldn't wait to try
out that in-object echolocation. It sounded fascinating, if
more of a curiosity than anything else. After all, he had his
hooves for anything close enough to touch, and why would he need
anything more? It's the range outside his reach that he's most
       interested in. Although...
He's brought out of his thoughts by Mom's question towards
Chord. She's concerned. Is something the matter? He's not one
to be able to help anypony very often, so it makes him uneasy
when he feels it might be happening. He finds his breathing
coming a little more quickly, his hooves clenching and
unclenching where they're folded on the table. Well, he
couldn't filter what he's getting, but he can try to cope with
       it.
His left hind hoof reaches out under the table and pulls his bag
towards him by the strap. His horn glows a dim white as he
trails his telekinesis down his leg for reference of where he
was reaching, into the bag and around one of his stress balls.
Out it comes and rolls up his leg, across his side and out along
his left foreleg, ending up between his hooves. His horn glow
dissipates and he squeezes the ball, his breathing slowing as he
       works his feelings into it.

After gently placing back the globe onto its proper shelf,
Samiel hovers back towards the table. Returning to his notebook
he etches down a few notes in Saddle Arabian before returning
his attention to the others. His calm smile fades when he sees
everyone slightly anxious in their expressions. Instead of
pointing out the obvious, he scans around for something to
discuss; his eyebrows do rise up when he sees Clair's stress
ball. "Ah a stress ball, I have one at home. It works very well
when I use it in my meditations. I also try deep breathing
exercises as well. As for this ball..." the Pegasus lightly taps
on his sketch of the globe on the table. "It might just cause
more headaches than relieve them. Still, a life without any
challenge wouldn't be much to live for. As they add to our
palette of experience which grows each day." Looking once more
into his book, Samiel lifts his pen and underlines the circular
base, jotting some numbers down the fore turning back to the
group. "If I may ask; during my meditations I seek ways to clear
my mind and relax my body. What methods do you each utilize to
       reach a state of ease?"

"Y-yeah I'm fine." Chord quickly responds to Jazz's question. In
truth, Chord was always a pretty nervous pony, bit she was even
more nervous with Clair around since they cuddled that one night
on the couch. After responding to Jazz's question Chord quickly
looks at Clair rolling his stress ball around. She quickly looks
       back towards Samiel and blushes.
When Samiel asks what the others use to relax Chord takes a
moment to think before she replies. "Well I like t-to play the
piano to relax, if that's what you're asking."

Jazz isn't convinced that Chord is actually fine, the young mare
still seeming to be nervous about something. She decides to let
it go though, surely if it was a big problem Chord would say
something right? She looks over at Samiel as he returns, then
down at Clair when the red pegasus mentions his stress ball. She
glances back at Chord, figuring he must have picked up on her
concern for the younger mare. Thankfully, Samiel asks what
everypony does to relax after writing some notes down in his
notebook, and Jazz turns to look at him once again. "I like to
put on some good music and dance."

Samiel leans back in his seat, closing his notebook as he
considers the options given to him. "Ah, music and dance. Two
beautiful arts which... I am not very fluent in. With dance and
instruments I swear I'm working with four left hooves." He taps
his pen on the book's cover, glancing at it then over to the
others. "What I've learned though is that however you're winding
down, it's better to do so in the company of others." The
Pegasus lifts his book and places it in his pack. "I must get
going, I have to look into some materials for this project. I
thank you all though for assisting me with this great endeavor."
He gets up and stretches, spreading his wings out as he yawns,
"Speaking of music and dance, are there any events or
       orchestras?"

Chord perks up a bit at the mention of orchestras. "Well,
there's the Trans-Equestrian Orchestra, which I'm trying to
join. They do mostly classical, but occasionally do a more
experimental song. They're the best orchestra in the world, at
least to me. You should see them sonetime. I think there's a
concert sometime next week if you can afford a ticket." While
Chord was usually very nervous and awkward, she apparently had
absolutely no problems talking about the orchestra for some
reason. It was very obviousthat she liked the said orchestra.
