'Morse code? Huh, haven used morse code in months; I wonder why
he's-' Samiel lightly shakes his head to snap him out of his
stupor. "Oh uh about that; well the statue itself is going to be
a levitating globe. The base is going to hold the enchantment or
mechanism, I haven't decided which, that will hold it in the
air." He looks down at his notes, "I guess this could be more
based on aesthetics than practicality."

Jazz resists the urge to giggle at Chord's surprise. She hadn't
meant to startle the young mare. "Sorry." She says, her ears
twitching slightly as she picks up a voice back the way she'd
come. Maybe that other pony who had sat at the table with Clair
had decided to try talking to him. She hopes he doesn't get too
irritated when Clair has trouble responding. "Clair and me just
came to see if there's any spells that can help him out. He's
back there." She waves a hoof toward the aisle she'd just come
from. "I'm sure he'd love to meet you again."

Aesthetics. Uh...Clair isn't so sure he's the best judge of
that. His ear twitches, and he reaches up to scratch it. His
hoof stays up and messes absently with his mane for a moment.
Clarity would probably be able to help more than him with that.
That's not the main problem though. He's heard that word
before, he knows he has, but he can't immediately identify it.
His other hoof taps nervously for a few seconds on the table as
he feels his face heat up slightly.
His head tilts a little when his hooves return to the table so
he can return the conversation. WHAT SHAPE IS A GLOBE STOP I
FORGET STOP

"What's a globe?" Samiel asks, putting a hoof to his chin. "A
globe is a diagram of the planet. It shows the nations, the
oceans, the mountains." He looks around, "I'm most certain one
is here. It is a library after all." The pegasus spots one
resting on a nearby shelf and rises from his seat. With a few
flaps of his wings he hovers over and grabs it, bringing it back
to Clair and sitting back down. "Here we go, a globe. I desire
to recreate something similar to this." He rests his hoof on the
sphere and slowly pushes it, rotating it at a steady pace. "Just
like this, rotating in midair without uh..." Samiel taps on the
curved metal piece holding the miniature planet to the base,
"This thing. Oh, and much larger. And possibly a few clouds,
though I'm sue that would require another field of study."

“Y-yeah its fine.” Chord says as Jazz apologizes for startling
her. Chordonus smiles when she hears Clair is here. “Oh sure,
I’d love to s-see him again!” Chord says. She checks the page
number she’s on and mentally snapshots it as she gets up from
the table.

Jazz turns around as Chord stands up, motioning back the way she
came with a hoof. "We're right down here." She says, leading the
purple pegasus between the row of shelves. Looks like that pony
who'd sat down at the table had started to talk to Clair, like
she'd though. He was showing the young unicorn a globe,
apparently unaware that Clair can't see. Jazz giggles softly and
steps up to the table, looking down at the notebook the red
stallion had placed in front of Clairvoyant, the page depicting
a floating globe. Whatever this was sounded like quite the
ambitious project. "What are you working on?" She asks, turning
her attention toward Samiel.

Clair cocks his head curiously, not really being helped by the
explanation. Or the clunk of what he's guessing is a visual aid
being placed on the table. Diagram of the planet...so shaped
like the planet. That's...which shape again? Probably one of
those three-dimensional ones that he had a hard time remembering
the names of. Well, he knows most of them, he thinks, but some
of them have more than one name, right? Like a circular circle
is a sphere, or a ball. Sure, he'd learned his geography
before, but it's been a while, and he doesn't really use it all
that much...
He's about to reach forward to feel the globe that's supposedly
in front of him when his mom comes back to the table, engaging
the stranger in conversation instead. He's just fine with that.
His forehooves return to a neatly folded position in front of
him on the table and he leans against Jazz, his smile
brightening.

Samiel looks over to Jazz as she approaches, "Ah hello." He
looks over to the globe as he continues, "Well, imagine this
globe but much larger, about... 10 meters tall? And the planet
itself is floating above the platform, slowly rotating at the
same speed our world turns. The details will be extraordinary,
the viewer can point to deserts, forests, even towns and cities.
Now hovering around this sphere are clouds, storms, just about
any weather as it occurs in real life. Finally, as night
approaches an area, it will darken and lighten as the sun and
moon rises and falls on the horizon." The Pegasus pauses, and
raises his hoof, "I apologize, I've gotten a bit excited over
this. My name is Samiel Sirocco. It's a pleasure to meet you two
as well."

Chord follows behind Jazz over to Clair’s table. She’s quite
confused at what the red pegasus is doing, apparently something
about planets. After Samiel introduces himself Chord nervously
introduces herself. “H-hi. I’m Chordonus. Chordonus Tiempo.”

Jazz smiles and takes Samiel's hoof. "I'm Jazz." She lets go of
the red stallion's hoof and pats Clair lightly on the back. "And
this is Clairvoyant. It's nice to meet you." She turns her gaze
to the illustration, eyeing the designs for the base. "That's a
pretty ambitious project, what's it for?" She asks, moving aside
slightly to let Chord get a better view of the notebook.
