Kit blinked, as she looked over Kindle. "Oh! Well don't have to
I suppose stay there of course butcha can always use it as
storage or a guest room or workshop." She said rubbing her chin
lazily before she nodded. "Yes let's!" Padding over to the
medium building, she would look left then right before she used
a key to open the door. The first floor was a broad expanse that
covered the first floor, furnished with some low tables and a
display confer near the front that sectioned it off into two
halves, front and back, the nearby stairs behind the counter
obviously left to either turret. "Looks nice right?" She said
with a happy click of the beak looking around as she walked a
circle around the front, using her wings to hop over the countr
       to poke around the back.

"Hm, a workshop sounds nice," Kindle replied to Kit. Her current
setup at home took up a considerable amount of room, and made
the house feel a bit cramped, so she wouldn't mind having a
place to transfer it over to. Kindle placed the scents she had
made on the counter, assuming that Kit was too caught up in the
excitement of exploring the building to try them out at the
moment. She spun in a slow circle, taking in the room's
features. Kindle's mother was an interior design pony, and had
occasionally taken her daughter with her to jobs. Although
Kindle didn't have the same level of knowledge or talent as her
mother, she could see that the show room had a simple, neat
design that would be easy for her and Kit to spruce up however
       they liked.
Kindle walked around the counter to join Kit in the space in the
back of the show room, and headed towards the stairs. "I'm going
to take a look upstairs," said Kindle, before trotting up the
set of stairs to the right. The room at the top of the stairs
had an angled ceiling and a large arched window overlooking the
road, as well as a second window with a view of the lake. Kindle
headed back downstairs, then took the left set of stairs to see
the other room. It was situated slightly higher up, also with a
nice view, and connected to a small attic above the room.
Kindle returned to the show room to discuss with Kit. "Both of
the rooms look nice. Since you'll be sleeping and such here, and
since you paid for the building, it's only fair that you get to
decide which room you want," she said.

Kit tilted her head watching Kindle wander this way and that
with a nod. "Sure." While Kindle was taking a look upstairs, Kit
hopped up and lay on the counter, wiggling softly to get
comfortable as she peered at Kindle when she returned, she had
rolled to lay on her side a bit, her backpaws and foreclaws
curled up against her side as she winked playfully.
"I bet the sun hits this spot juuussst right, 'cause it's still
warm from the day..." She said with a soft chirp and a purr from
her throat before she *finally* noticed Kindle's samples. "Oh!
You have them. I'm such a scatter brain." She said as she slowly
hopped down, sniffing at one, then the other scent, both scents
made Kit's tail lash back and forth. "Oh..I could just imagine
these two scents fillign up the store and totally working
together...what's the phrase you pony's use? 'In Harmony'?
Totally in harmony." She said her eyes half lidded with the
pleasure of the scent before she shook her head to clear it,
       turning back to Kindle.
"I think I'll choose the one with the view of the lake. The
attic would be nice, but ...I don't have all that much with me
that wouldn't be better used around the show room." She said
with a bit of a nod. "If your happy with it.." She said looking
away and drawing a design on the floor with her claw. "I'd
totally help you move your stuff over here, unless you want to
hire some big strong stallions..and we could, er, watch them
work or something..." She had decided she *liked* Kindle..but
now she was going to er, test the breeze...

"Yeah, harmony, that's a good way to describe it." Kindle
briefly remembered hearing about the Elements of Harmony, or the
ponies who wielded them anyway, living in Ponyville, and
wondered whether she'd seen any of them around town. She shook
her head, focusing on the griffon in the show room again. "I'm
glad you like them!" Kindle said, happy with Kit's response to
the candle scents. "I'll start working on making the actual
candles as soon as I can."
"Sure, I'll take the room with the attic. If I'm moving my
workshop here, I'll have candle-making supplies and tools to
store there. Lakeview's all yours." To tell the truth, Kindle
was rather relieved that she wouldn't have a view of the lake.
She had a fear of drowning, and a mild fear of large bodies of
water, that she knew was irrational, but couldn't shake anyway.
Working in a building nearby a lake would help that, she hoped,
but she was glad that she wouldn't have to stare at the water
       all day.
"Oh, if I clear out my cart, I can have most of my stuff over
here in a jiffy," Kindle said, oblivious to the meaning behind
Kit's suggestion. "Although there's a work table that would
probably be easier for someone with wings to make across town."

Kit stretched out on the counter again, peering over at Kindle
curiously, head tilted to the side. "I do like them." She
reiterated with a small chirp, catching some of Kindle's
Excitement, before she rolled over onto her back, and turne
dher head at Kindle. Such an adorable gryphon with her back paws
and foreclaws curled up against her body, tail up in the air.
"Oooh, I suppose I could take the work table, but look how
adorable I am, are you going to make something as adorable as I
       am work?"

"Alright, alright, I'll hire a pegasus to fly the table across
town," Kindle said, grinning. Kit's face looked funny upside
down on the counter. Kindle used her magic and her hooves to
clear the candles and other materials out of her cart, placing
them on an empty table in the show room. She looked around for
Coal to bring him with her, but he was curled up in a patch of
sunlight on a windowsill. He looked peacefully asleep, so Kindle
decided not to bother him. "Hey, I'm heading over to my place
now, want to come with? I promise I won't make you carry
       anything," Kindle joked.

Kindle clicked her beak and wiggled her paws and foreclaws when
she heard she didn't have to fly anything around. Truth was,
she kind of sucked at the flying thing, she wasn't an endurance
or speed flier, so when she had to travel, it was best done in a
group, her lone trip to ponyville to seek out a new life and
Ivory notwithstanding. She chuckled and looked over to Coal.
"And the cat kicks the gryphon out of the adorableness
department by a mile." She said with a soft chirp and rolled
onto the ground on her feet with a soft thud, before indicating
the door with a claw. "After you mademoiselle."

"Coal certainly is adorable," Kindle agreed. "But he's always
trying to abuse his looks to get more food. Make sure you don't
let him beg too many treats from you while we're here." The mare
hitched herself to her cart again and began pulling away from
the building. Her house wasn't directly across town, so she
decided not to head towards the market square. Instead, she
trotted down a side street, making sure that Kit could see and
follow her. Kindle was glad that she and Coal had explored the
streets of Ponyville in their walks, because now she knew the
perfect shortcut to take. In just a few minutes, they were at
Kindle's front door. "I'm gonna grab my stuff, you can wait out
here or come inside, whichever you want," Kindle said as she
entered her house, leaving the door open behind her for the
       griffin.

"Oh my, well, around me he might turn into a real pudgy kitty."
She coo'ed at Coal playfully. She rolled off the countertop,
landing with a mixture of thuds from paws, and clicks from
claws. "So that doesn't hurt or anything?" She'd ask as she
looked over the hitched up pony, inspecting the hitching
curiously. Followig her down a side street, she'd let out a
small chirp of amusement. "Oh, look at kindle, so street wise.."
She'd let out a click of her eak as she followed. When they
were at Kindle's house, she'd curiously poke her head inside
once invited. "Oooh..Cozy." she commented, following kindle, her
head swivelling about like a curious chick.

"Hurt? Nah, this is fine," Kindle said, gesturing to the
hitching which she had just removed. "My father is a blacksmith,
and he helped me make it so that it wouldn't chafe or anything.
Of course, that doesn't stop my hooves getting sore from
dragging the cart around!" Kindle levitated tools and supplies
from her work table to the cart as she spoke, packing the
irregularly shaped items as neatly as she could. "So, do you
want a snack or something?" she offered Kit, trying to be
hospitable. "I've got some daisys and clover... uh, if you like
that kind of food." Kindle realized that she had no idea what
griffons ate; Kit could eat birdseed for breakfast for all she
       knew.
