Well, whomever Potato was looking for, the specifics really
didn't narrow down a figure to look out for more than the
original vague description. In fact, if anything, it now
suggested to Sound that he now had to go find someone allegedly
called 'Cloaked' in order to find the other one. This would take
some time, and though he wanted to help, Sound wasn't entirely
eager to run through Ponyville yelling the name of somepony he
didn't know in hopes of finding him or her...

Nivalia's smile grows a bit more at the compliments she and
Caprica receive. "Gracias. See Caprica?" the mare says as she
looks over to her snake, "There are ponies wh- really?"
Nivalia's tone deadpans as she finds her python already wrapped
around the pepper, flicking her tongue over it. With a roll of
her eyes and a half hearted sigh the dark mare looks back to
Potato Ponie. "So this pony you're looking for. Grey unicorn,
high pitched voice, and knows somepony possibly named 'Cloaked.'
Have you informed the guards? Perhaps they might know more about
this mystery pony." Nivalia pauses, "What did he steal exactly?"

"Pfffff... Who needs guards? Guards are lazy, corruptible, and
are kinda idiots. No, no guards." The potato themed superhero
says with a trace of annoyance in his voice. "He stole a bit
purse from a turquoise-y pegasus. If you see her could you tell
me also?" PoPo says.

Looks to the potato themed pony with a head tilted to the side.
"I...er. Grey..unicorn, 'Cloaked' and...turquise-y
pegasus...Talk about labelling people by coat color." He said
with a joking manner, running a hoof over his muzzle. "That's
quite the shopping list of people to find my..caped friend." He
said as he looked to Caprica and smiled, turning his head to
marked. "I guess you were right that eventually I'd find
somepony else, even if that person is not a pony." He said with
a quick chuckle, lowering himself onto his plot, feeling the sun
on his body. "Today would be a perfect day for a picnic I think,
like, right here." He said with a nod.

"I would disagree with that..." Marked chimed in to defend the
ponies who dedicated themselves to protecting the ponies of the
country, "I've actually spent plenty of time around and talking
to guards for my job, and I'm one hundred percent convinced that
the country would be a desolate hole in the ground by now if it
weren't for them. I shudder to think about it, really."
Turning his attention back to Pepper, Marked chuckled a little
then shrugged, "Of course. I never knew snakes had a thing for
peppers though. I wonder how excited it would get if it found
your cart?"

Sound looked to Marked at his comment on the Guard. He didn't
dare to say what he thought, and it was indeed true that most of
them did indeed take great pride in their work and care for
civilians, there was always the small percentage of individuals
providing a service solely for their own personal gain. Money,
power, whatever benefit they felt they could exploit. Again,
this was a small percentage, especially among the Guard, but
Sound couldn't help but recall an isolated issue an old friend
got into.
Bringing his mind back to the matter at hand, Sound relayed the
facts to himself. Internally, since Pepper Spray seemed to be
doing the same thing aloud. Grey unicorn, stolen bit-purse, an
individual named 'Cloaked'. The first thing Sound could think to
do, though it conflicted with Potato's request and his earlier
train of thought, was to inform one of the Guard. Their duty was
to protect civilians, whether or not they actually cared for the
matters at hand, and besides, what could three ponies possibly
do to solve a crime?

Nivalia's ears flick as she hears Potato Ponies's description of
the guard, as well as the opposing viewpoints of Marked Twine.
As for picking a side, the mare merely shrugs, "My brother was a
guard. He's not corruptible, but a bit lazy... And he did have
his stupid moments but that's just him. Either way the guards
here do adequate work, I haven't seen any trouble since I've
gotten here." Caprica simply remains silent, uncoiling around
the pepper and slitering around the mare until she rests on her
shoulders once more. Nivalia glances over to her pet, putting
the pepper in her bag for later on and giving her python a
gentle pat before looking over to Potato Ponie, "Besides, aren't
you a superhero? Shouldn't you be saving the day and solving
this crime?"

The potato themed superhero narrows his eyes at Mark. "Yes and
the country could also not be controlled by a bunch of bad
unicorn/pegasus hybrids that are as close to dictators as you
can get. And maybe, while we're at it, maybe every town in this
place wouldn't get attacked by a monster every other week. But I
guess everything can't ever be perfect, can it?" Potato nearly
spits out. He had his own personal vendetta against guards. A
VERY strong vendetta.
He then turns to Niv and says in a still slightly annoyed and
very sarcastic tone "No, I'm here to make sure the bad guy gets
away." followed by a roll of his eyes.

Pepper blinked a bit as she looked between Nivalia and Potatoe,
and then sound, flicking an ear softly as he heard the guard so
heavily put down by Potatoe, tail twitching a bit but he
shrugged, everyone was entitled to their opinion and worst coem
to worse there were probably more guards than vigilantes
spouting paranoia about half-rmemebered mares and names. His
ears perked again as he followed Caprica back over to Nivalia,
but moved past nivalia with a giglge, letting her handle potatoe
before turning to sound. "Hi, No need to sound so shy." He said
with a bit of a smile. "Are you enjoying the park? I haven't
been in ponyville long..I usually stick to my farm but I am
definitely coming back to this place."

"Ha!" Marked couldn't help but actually laugh after the next
thing the pony with the cape said in regards to the princesses,
the writer now starting to find this rather amusing actually,
"heheh... You spend a lot of time in a basement playing with tin
foil, don't you? First the guards are evil and stupid, and now
your saying our leaders are bad dictators? Cause, you know,
mares who preach love and friendship, encourage cooperation,
learning and art, and are sometimes even willing to go so far as
to visit a small town like ours and play nightmare night games
with little colts and fillies are just the embodiment of evil.
Princess Luna even helps ponies with their nightmares! And
Celestia has her own school that she uses her personal time to
teache magic at! You know that had they not shown up we'd still
be dealing with Discord ruling over us? Heck, if it wasn't for
Celestia having faith that he can change and being willing to
give him a second chance that guy would still be an evil jerk.
What bad dictator would risk releasing one of their greatest
possible enemies ever just so he can have a chance to find
friendship and be accepted among everypony else? As for the
attacks, you do know this town here borders the Everfree Forest,
right? I wouldn't blame a princess or group of guards for having
trouble keeping that place contained one hundred percent of the
time."
So, to sum everything up, a pony who dressed like a super hero
believed that the ponies meant to protect him were not only
incompetent but also evil and that the authority figures leading
their country are automatically bad because the world isn't
perfect under their rule. Marked was fairly certain that there
was some kind of psychological condition that could be linked to
this...
