The stallion stops messing around with his cape, being unable to
get it to straighten. He then turns to the filly who he was
calling "Treebranch" in his head because nopony knew the other's
names at the moment and she apparently knew about one of his
home country's national holidays, which was themed around
branches. "Well the style of mane doesn't really do anything.
The hairs just connect to the brain, giving the Manticore very
high sensory skills with it. Or something like that."
He then turns to the mare who he was calling "Crazy-Snake-Mare"
in his head because, again, no names had been exchanged and she
had a snake. "Inns? Sorry but I haven't even been in town yet,
just sorta saw an enraged Manticore heading towards it. But I'd
be happy to help you look for one if you want." The masked
stallion offers, always having to be an altruist.

Brash sets her hoof down, being comfortable with the snake,
"Well, then, how many times would you have to hit it to make it
bend to my will?" Having a manticore as a pet would surely prove
her superiority over others without having to jump through any
       hoops.
"You can stay at my place," Brash turns to Nivilia, and whilst
she had found an inn when drawing up new maps, letting the mare
stay there gave her no leverage towards her goals. "Carri is off
on a mission so the bedroom is free."

Nivalia looks over to Brash as she offers a room at her house,
some surprise is in her expression. "Are you sure? I mean I'm
very grateful for the offer but, would your parents be ok with
that? Letting a complete stranger in your home right off the
bat?" She glances over to Potato Pony, "And I'd feel terrible if
we didn't find an inn at least for you stay in any case."
Caprica in the meantime, simply lays there flicking her tongue
       at the air.

The stallion wearing the mask puts a hoof on his chin and a
thoughtful expression on his face. "Well I'd have to hit it
quite a bit given it's tough skin, but even then I can't be sure
that it would give in. You can't ever be sure something will
give in to another thing, not even when it's in extreme pain. I
might not even have to hit it..." He then gets a look of disgust
on his face, realizing what he was saying and what he'd been
       asked.
"WAIT YOU WANT ME TO HIT IT SO YOU CAN HAVE A PET?" He suddenly
yells at the filly. "Why would you want me to do that? I mean it
has a nest full of it's children! And you want me to make it
your pet and take it away from it's family!" He says in a
shocked voice. Enslaving innocent creatures using brute force
wasn't really something the stallion did. Actually, he found it
absolutely repulsive that somepony would even suggest that.
Something was obviously wrong with the filly. Whatever it was
that happened to make her think that even suggesting something
like that must have been horrible. He actually felt sorry for
       her.
He then stops himself from yelling at the filly even more about
how screwed up what she had said was and takes a second to calm
down. "Ok, I'm just gonna forget you said for now." He then
says, deciding that would be best. For now at least.
He then turns towards the mare with the snake. "I don't really
need an inn. I only plan on stopping for supplies then moving
on. Unless something happens that's along the lines of needing a
superhero. Then I'll need to stay and help."

Just after Potato's outburst Brash was ready to suggest simply
enslaving the entire family of manticores, but when he said he'd
forget about it Brash decided it wasn't a pursuit worth the
effort she'd have to put in.
"Parents?" She responds to Nivalia, "I'd be surprised if they
even could be okay with it, since they've departed this plane."
She remarks, noting it's the first time she's spoken to anypony
on that subject. "The house is mine and Carri is my freeloading
       roommate."
Brash then remembers how questionable her predicament is,
pointing a stern hoof at the two ponies, "And don't tell anypony
about my parents, getting sent to an orphanage or getting
adopted is a waste of time."

Nivalia slightly flinches at the superheros outburst, but
doesn't say anything since he brings up a good point. Either way
her heart goes to the filly when she tells them about her
parents, "Oh, I'm sorry for your loss. Well... If its not too
much trouble I guess I can stay there for a few days. And I
suppose if you have everything working well for you I don't have
to call the authorities. Still..." She glances to Potato Pony,
       "What do you think?"

The superhero has to think about this for a minute. On one hoof
this is a filly that couldn't be more than 7 or so years old.
But then she seems quite mature for her age. But then again is
it really a good idea to leave a pony who would seriously
recommend enslaving innocent creatures on her own? But then
again she seemed like she'd been doing this for a while. But
then again wouldn't a pony just find her in the end? And
wouldn't a childhood without parents screw her up even more? But
then again haven't some of the best ponies he knew been on their
at early ages, including his father?
And he did feel sorry fir her loss. Even though it seemed like
everypony who'd ever did something significant had dead parents
it was still a terrible thing to lose. Plus he'd just lost a
parent not long ago. It really hurt. REALLY hurt.
He decided that he would let it slide until something went
horribly wrong, which it most assuredly would. "I guess it's ok.
I mean she seems to be quite capable of handling herself, even
though she's got something wrong up there." The super hero says
as he points to his own head. "Besides it doesn't seem like she
could really do anything more than steal some apples." He adds,
noting her lack of strength. Or social skills. And how weird she
       looked.

Brash glares at Potato Ponie, "When Equestria falls under my
rule I'll remember to kick you out."
She then sighs, "Well, I've got important things to be up to.
I'm heading home should you wish to follow." She turns, fully
aware the snake is still with her and begins to walk towards
       Ponyville.

Nivalia looks over to the superhero, rather confused about the
situation until the filly says she's heading back into town. The
mare looks over to Brash as she walks away and raises a hoof,
concern in her voice. "Wait, don't go too far! Caprica will get
stressed out if you do!" Once the python realizes that she's
being taken away from her owner, she instinctively begins to
tighten her grip around the pony carrying her. The snake then
begins to puff itself up, baring its fangs and hissing rather
loudly. Nivalia begins running over to them, shouting to her
pet, "Caprica! Venga aquí!" Like a well trained dog Caprica
stops her aggression and slithers off Brash, heading back to
       Nivalia with haste.

The superhero couldn't help but giggle at as the snake bared
it's fangs at the filly. He always found karma funny for some
reason he'd never understand. Once he stopped giggling he yelled
at the filly in a teasing tone "Ever wonder how long it takes to
overthrow an empire? Two hours is my record! And I could
probably take yours down in about five minutes if I had a
snake!" He then bursts into laughter.
