Changelings

So since there isn't much canon information on changelings I
came up with a few concepts whilst creating my own (she's not
posted yet btw). Here's what I've got.
Feeding: Changelings are able to feed on three separate levels.
First is directly through magic, it is the most efficient in
terms of extraction and feeds the changeling the fastest and
fullest. Drawback is that the pony drained loses love since they
arent giving it willingly; they become depressed, numb, and if
drained too much, a husk. Second method is affection; holding
hoofs, hugs, kisses on the cheek, etc. this is the lightest
method of feeding and keeps them fed for a short time, but can
be done by the willing pony at any time and amount. The third is
passion, which delves more into the romantic area consisting of
passionate kisses, caressing and "hugging". Feeds the changeling
more but only for a short duration of time. Like a sugar high, a
changeling will become physically fatigued when they become
hungry again. Those who use their magic during this "rush" will
end up "crashing" both physically and magically.
Life and Power: Changelings need love to survive, but after they
are "full", any additional love increases their magical strength
(which I believe is show canon). When a changeling is starving,
they are most likely to lose their magic first before physically
dying.
Disguises: Changelings can disguise themselves as other ponies
(duh). However more advanced changelings are able to alter their
disguise in terms of age, scarring, or other such features. Not
only can changeling match appearances, thy can match voices and
even sing with them. If a changeling is ill then their ability
to disguise themselves becomes more difficult at best and
completely Undoable at worst.
Magic and Abilities: Changelings have to learn like everypony
else. They can learn the same spells as a unicorn but will only
have the advantage of working with more magic at their disposal
(only if they're constantly fed) As mentioned before if they're
not fed regularly then their magical power deteriorates.
So that's what I have for now. I'll probably add more later on.
UPDATE!!!
I remembered this just before going to bed.
Changelings can not only feed on love, but can willingly give
love to another pony or changeling. This is uncommon and usually
happens when the changeling develops an attachment to their
host. The love they give uplifts the feelings of the pony,
suppressing negative thoughts and feelings. Changelings in
groups can "ration" love to each other to keep each other alive
for longer periods of time.

Alternate downside to feeding method #3: Changelings lose their
disguise for a short time.

While we allow a little wiggle room in certain areas, such a
great deal of head canon, however, is too much and we will have
to decline making it a part of the forum's lore.
