Gumi interrupted then. "Gumi lost her memory when she was
thirteen and Razor found her soon after."

"Ah, I see. Well, whatever works, right?" Parker said, smiling.
Onyx looked off to his left, hearing something about, 'new guys'
and he wondered if they were attracting attention already.

"Yes, plus he'd had to've been four years old when he conceived
me and Gumi doesn't think that's possible." Gumi said.
"Yeah, I sorta adopted her." He said and then pinched her cheek,
"She's to adorable to have no family."
Gumi glared up at him until he released her cheek.

Parker smiled widely, and said, "Well, I think the two of you
make an adorable family."
Onyx turned away from the voices which were talking about him
and Parker, and back to the conversation at hand.

Razor smiled back with a smile so wide it seemed to split his
face, "Thank you!"
Gumi just nodded as the skull on her head let out a chattering
noise, "Yes, yes, and you and the others are my brothers and
sisters."

Parker smiled before being nudged by Onyx.
"We seem to be the topic of discussion," he says quietly.

Gumi smiled at this, "How dd you two meet, if you don't mind
being asked that?"

Parker looked at Onyx, who just gave a small shrug. "He doesn't
mind, so I'll explain. I was traveling, and I came across a town
in Japan where all I could hear about was this 'god' being which
lived at the top of a nearby mountain. I was intrigued, and so I
payed him a visit. When I got to the very top of the mountain, I
saw Onyx, standing as you saw him on the chair, eyes closed. The
wind whipped his hair about his face and he noticed my presence.
He said, 'You have come. Why?' And I said, 'I wanted to see who
the villagers spoke of.' He opened his eyes slowly, and it took
my breath away. He said, 'So now you see me. What else lurks in
your heart?' I was bewildered, and the truth just spilled out of
me, 'I'd like to travel with you. Someone like you could be a
great friend and influence, and don't you want to see the
world?'"
Onyx smiled, "And I did want to see the world. So I went
willingly. And here we are."

"Ah, I see. Interesting." Razor said, propping his elbows on the
table and folding his hands together in his usual thinking
position. The fact that he said Onyx was from Japan ruled out
the possibility he was a djinn, unless he was a Japanese
species.
"Gumi gets that, she has to be careful in India because they
believe me to be their goddess Kali." Gumi said with a nod.
