leviousa on his bag and causing it to float upward. "You gonna
jump for it, Snivellus? Or can I send it out the window?"
James laughed, "HE may want you to just throw it out!"

Severus gave him a tired look, then looked up at his bag. He
knew what was going to happen, so he said, "You may do as you
wish, as you were going to anyway."
Remus' eyebrows shot up to his hairline. "Oh really Snivellus?"
Peter chuckled.

"Go fetch, you greasy dog." Sirius said, throwing it out the

"Thank you," Severus said, leaving and 'fetching' his bag. It
took all of a few seconds to put it to right with his wand, and
then he was off, walking briskly.
"Bloody creep. What did he say at the end? 'Thank you'?" Remus
asked James.
Peter was too confused to speak.

Peter nods and grabs his stuff.
Severus walked quickly to the school, declining a ride in a
carriage.

Severus did not go to the Great Hall at all. Instead, he went
right down to the Slytherin common room. He didn't know the
password yet, so he sat outside the concealed door and got out a
book. He'd at least be safe down here from those four.
Remus grabbed the last carriage, saying, "Hop in! Might leave
with out you!"
Peter was the second one on, "Not without me you aren't!"
