Clary smiles.
I honestly thought my time in the library would suck after I
started reading that darn book. But I see now I was wrong. I'm
glad you landed on my table. And you sooo have to teach me how
to make those awesome paper airplanes. Mine never fly that well.

Although, that someone usually pushes me OFF the table...not
pleasant. And sure, I'll teach you how to make the airplanes.
Don't fly them where you'd get in trouble, because unless you're
lucky, which I'm usually not, you'd end up in detention. I've
ended up there plenty of times...I guess you're just my lucky
charm, because I didn't get caught this time."

Well I am a redhead... they say we redheads are good luck. I
think it's because of the Irish in us. I'll be careful. I don't
think it would be good to end up in detention so soon. I'm
already going to be annoying my teachers since I just don't get
the work here. Hmm... I may just end up being the life of
detention!
Clary giggles at her own silliness.

"As much as I'd love to spend time with you in detention, it's
probably better if you just get some reading in and try to
understand it. Trust me, if you can't hold your own, detention
can be a scary place. Not fun. People usually stay away from me,
but there are the people who always shoot me dirty looks when
they think I'm not looking. They'd love to get at me, but they
know they won't have any help if they tried. Most people just
leave me alone, but there's the select few who've tried at
me...beat them off, but it was a fight to be remembered."
Tony gets a faraway look in his eyes, but is quickly snapped
back to reality.

Clary is about to reply to Tony when she see the other guy. She
instantly gets shy and looks down at the table, fidgeting with
the books she has in front of her nervously. When she speaks,
it's in a quiet shy voice, much softer and quieter than she was
just talking to Tony with.
