Tony stands, brushing himself off then looking back at the
chair.
"Of course..."
Tony flips the chair back up to the upright position.
"You are? Haven't seen your face around here, and I know mostly
everyone, so you must be new."

Tony nods.
"I thought so. Clary. Huh. Well, I'm Tony Aris...don't get me
wrong, I'm not in the library to learn!"
Tony narrows his eyes as he thinks Clary will judge him for
being in the library.
"I was just throwing paper airplanes down at the librarian's
desk, one of my favorite pastimes, and passing time...teacher
sent me here for the next half hour because he thinks I'll
actually try if I'm stuck in the library."
Tony smirks.

Clary giggles.
Paper airplanes sound like much more fun than trying to learn
this stuff. This guy here, that I have no idea of his name, says
not to worry because I'll learn it. But I love books yet can't
seem to understand this one. It might as well be written in
French.
Clary holds up a book that is titled "Dueling For Beginners"

"Then again, half of these books look like they're French to me.

Clary laughs a little and decides to try to get him to say what
he was about to before he changed his mind.
What should I try? Don't worry. I won't ruin your image. Please
help me out here? I'm so going to be in trouble if I flunk out
of here!

Tony sighs.
"Alright. Promise you won't tell anyone?..."
Tony shakes his head.
"Forget it, I'll just deny it if you do...try this one."
Tony walks over to a shelf, checking behind him first, then
looks through the shelf and pulls out, "Dueling Vol. 1: The
Basics", and brings it back to Clary.
"Here. It's what I used before I quit paying attention and
started screwing around. It helped a lot, and isn't written in
French, trust me."

"That was interesting. Never could make it through the library
without some blunder, although the library's supposed to be
neat. Not that I'm here all of the time, or anything, it's
just..."
Tony sighs.
"First interaction with another person that isn't me making fun
of them, and I am terrible..."
