Nightshade grins, as it worked, and makes quick work of the
minions. He looks at Tohri.
Nightshade: You okay? Are you hurt at all?
Nightshade looks at X.
Nightshade: I wonder how he came into contact with Xelion
again...

Tohri slowly opens her eyes. She takes a moment to assess her
pain and strength levels and smiles. Not too bad. She is a
little weak and has a slight headache but that's better than she
had expected. She smiles at Nightshade.
Tohri: I'm a little weak and have a slight headache but other
than that I'm fine. I'm just thankful you are okay. You are okay
right? That stuff didn't hurt you did it? And what about X? Is
he going to be okay?
Concern and panic are clear in Tohri's voice. She's not worried
about herself. No, she would give her life for Nightshade. And
she'd protect her friend Psych as much as possible even though
he seems so different. Yes... their safety was her main priority
right now. Her Dad is a brave fighter, never worrying about
himself when those he loved was in trouble...she had learned
that from him.

Nightshade smiles back.
Nightshade: Good. I'm glad the coat worked to protect you. Yeah,
I'm okay. Don't worry. The stuff barely touched me. And X, X is
passed out over there. When he wakes up I'm sure he'll be
fine...not like there's any way we can tell otherwise. X is the
one with the mind reading powers.
Nightshade smiles, and hears the level of concern and panic. He
hopes she doesn't become completely suicidal when it comes to
protecting him or X. He doesn't want her to have to end her life
so he can continue his. He knows she's the only person he cares
about, the only one he might ever care about. If he died, she'd
have friends in Evo, X, and others. If she died, he'd become the
loner once again.

Tohri smiles and can't help but make her way over to Nightshade
and hug him. She holds on to him like she never plans on letting
go. She thinks of life without him in it...she can't handle
that. She knows she doesn't ever want to leave him either.
Tohri: Nightshade...please don't ever leave me. I'd be lost
without you. I was so scared that you'd become like X...and that
I'd fail to save you. I could never live with that. Together our
powers are stronger. I can feel it. Can you?
She starts to feel a bit lightheaded and her knees give out a
little. She tries to hide this by holding on to Nightshade to
steady herself. She doesn't want to admit that she is still
feeling a bit weak and she feels like X is still in her mind a
little. She remembers his cry for help...it's like it's echoing
in her mind. They have to help him.

Nightshade smiles back, and when Tohri hugs him, he hugs her
back. He thinks of life without her...and can't go back to being
the lone Nightshade. He doesn't want to let go.
Nightshade: I'm not going to leave you. Don't worry. And yes, I
can feel it.
Nightshade smiles then notices her knees give out a little.
Nightshade: Let's go sit down and figure out what happened to X.
Nightshade leads her over nearer to X and sits her down, then
sitting himself down. He takes her hand in his, then looking at
X.
Nightshade: He's not awake...he's passed out. I don't know if he
was just drained from that thing taking control of him, or if
the thing managed to knock him out when he detached.

Tohri smiles, thankful that Nightshade helped her sit down. She
smiles at him and then looks at X. She wonders if there is
anyway they can help him. She's trying to remember if there is
anything in her backpack that could be of use. While she's
thinking about that she can't help but look at X and wonder
about the hell he's been through.
Tohri: Do you think he'll be okay...well not okay exactly but as
okay as he can be considering?

Nightshade: Yeah. He's just passed out for the time being, so he
should wake up. Don't know when, but I'm relatively sure he
will.
Nightshade gives Tohri a reassuring smile.
Nightshade: Besides. I'm pretty sure X has been through worse
than this.

Tohri giggles at Nightshade's smile. She just can't seem to help
herself around him. She just had to get her powers under
control. She could risk hurting him. She would do it...for
him...for her Nightshade. She was determined. She shoves all
that out of her mind and focuses on the problem at hand.
Torhi: Well, we can't leave him here alone, and I don't know if
moving him is a good idea. So I guess we just sit here with him
and wait for him to wake up?
Tohri's stomach rumbles a little and she looks down blushing.
She looks around for her backpack knowing she has some fruit and
jerky in there. She can't seem to find it as she's searching and
she starts to get worried.
Tohri: Did I have my backpack with me earlier? Oh God...I hope I
didn't lose it or leave it somewhere.

Nightshade shakes his head.
Nightshade: I don't believe you had it. Here, let me try
something.
Nightshade manipulates the shadow, and makes an apple out of it.
He looks at it carefully, making sure it's edible, and gives it
to Tohri.
Nightshade: Here. You're obviously hungry.
Nightshade smiles, then nods.
Nightshade: And yeah. Best thing to do is to wait here.
Nightshade sits cross legged and holds Tohri's hand, not wanting
to release it. He smiles at her, then looks at X, waiting for
any signs of awakening.

Tohri looks a bit upset about not having her backpack but soon
has a smile on her face. She takes the apple with her free hand
and smiles at Nightshade.
Tohri: Thank you. After everything that's happened I guess I am
a bit hungry and fruit seems to help boost my energy back up. I
hope my backpack is back in the room. I can't believe I left
without it. I know better than that.
She begins eating the apple and smiles. It's delicious and
perfect. Right away she can feel her strength returning to her.
She isn't sure why fruit has that effect on her but she's sure
glad it does.
Tohri: This is the most amazing apple I've ever eaten!
