Open: Wooded Area

There is an area shown, filled with trees and animals, and
plants of all kinds. Bunnies are hopping, birds are chirping. A
nice, serene area. Criminals hide out here often when they want
to lie low, but the crime is at an all time low, and the
population of criminals is at the same.
Nightshade is waiting for someone in a clearing. He is unsure of
when this person will show up, but he hopes she does.

A person is nearby, but doesn't seem to disclose himself. He's
hiding in the trees... Being the trees himself? His skin has
taken the texture of the leaves and the muddy ground, blending
in the background. One might understand him if they look
closely, but who's gonna look?

Tohri skips through the wooded area seeming to be looking for
someone. She spots him up a head and smiles. She skips up to him
and throws her arms around him in a hug.
Tohri: There you are! I've been looking for you. Miss me?

Nightshade grins and puts his arms around Tohri.
Nightshade: I did indeed miss you. I missed you very much, I
always do.
Nightshade smiles at her.
Nightshade: So how's your day been? I hope it's been good? If
you've had a bad day though, I'm always here to cheer you up.

Watches, with a clenched jaw as the scene unfolds... Looks at
the girl... Then at the guy... Again at the girl. This time, he
just looks. He doesn't speak a single word, doesn't move,
doesn't try to show that he was there in any way.

Tohri giggles and smiles happily. She can't help but be happy
when with Nightshade.
Tohri: Thank you for that. I've had a good day but it's better
now that I'm here with you. So glad there haven't been more of
those things around though.

Nightshade: Good. I'm glad your day's been good.
Nightshade looks around, having that weird feeling you get when
someone's watching you. He looks troubled, but forgets it when
he looks back at Tohri. His face lights up again and he grins.
Nightshade: So, my little fireball, how's controlling the fire
coming along? Good, I hope?

He looks at Tohri, just staring at her, oblivious to anything
else. "If only she had the slightest idea of how much she
meant..," he thinks. An extreme sadness begins to take him over
and he has to concentrate really hard to dissolve it. This
cannot happen all the time. He is too evolved for that.

Tohri also has the feeling they are being watched but pushes it
away. She smiles and giggles instead.
Tohri: Well, I still need to work on it but it's definitely
getting better. Thanks to you! If you weren't so amazingly
supportive and encouraging I'd probably have burnt down the
forest by now!
She tries to laugh as if she is joking but in reality she's
telling the truth. She had been having a lot of trouble
controlling her powers since being captured but this past month
with Nightshade has helped her get a better handle on them.

Nightshade shakes his head, removing the memory.
Nightshade: I'm happy for you. You think you could ever reach
full control?
