       Erin Spenser - Artificial Lungs

       Full name: Erin Chloe Spenser
       Age: 15
       Physical description: Erin is relatively short (5'3), but makes
       up for it with her big expressions. Both her eyes and smile are
       as expressive as her words, and her eyes are probably the first
       feature people notice about her. Big, brown, and as overdramatic
       as she is, they reveal her thoughts before she has a chance to
       express them, most times. Erin's dark brown hair can vary from
       controlled and straight to curled and colored, depending on how
       she decides to play with it that day (and how much color she can
       get away with). She is half Latina, and though her name doesn't
       show it, her features clearly express her heritage. She likes to
       dress in loud colors, bold patterns, and isn't afraid of her
       fashion choices making her the center of attention-- whether
       good or bad.
       Character's Personality/Background Info: (taking some freedoms
       with background because it's AU!Erin and I don't know if you've
       planned any of this... so I am doing it. lol... Will adjust if
       you want.) The only child of an out-of-work piano teacher and a
       psychologist, Erin grew up surrounded both by art and by
       science. Though she didn't particularly hate the science and
       logic aspects, it was much more fun being artsy. Music drew her
       in more and more, especially as school became tougher and
       tougher. She is highly sensitive about her challenges with
       learning, and will often react illogically if someone probes her
       about her academics or why she won't pick up a book.
       Erin lives in extremes: She either loves you, or loathes you.
       Usually she loves, until she has a reason to loathe. She either
       is 100% devoted to something, or does not care. She wears her
       emotions on her sleeve, though it's not intentional-- she does
       not realize how transparent she is. She can also be very
       persistant, and persuasive, if it's something that truly matters
       to her. Erin's passion is her most defining attribute.
       Enhancement (if any): (totally making all of this stuff up based
       on that one line from your story, Mascii, so if you've thought
       of something else or if I missed important stuff, let me know!)
       Erin's Enhancement was her own idea, initially. Once her dad
       read an article about it to her, her interest was immediately
       piqued. Though initially highly wary (for obvious reasons... two
       weeks later, would she still want this?), her parents did their
       own research on the Enhancements, attending the seminars and
       demonstrations offered by the Enhancements' inventor. It
       continued to grow on Erin, and on her parents. It wasn't like a
       tattoo-- permanent but useless. It would better her, give her an
       advantage that few others would be able to have. She would be a
       part of something new, something great.... and so after much
       research, discussion, debate, financial complications that
       nearly drove it all to a halt, and conversations with Dr. Ramsey
       himself, the decision was made. Erin excitedly went under for
       her Enhancement of her respiratory system. It was all interior;
       you wouldn't know she'd had a single operation just by looking
       at her. But she wasn't hesitant to tell you all about it, or to
       show you what she could do.
       Her already-present love of the water increased exponentially
       once she could explore the underwater world for what felt like
       an eternity. She didn't have to come up for air every fifteen
       seconds, or rely on those obnoxious snorkeling things anymore.
       She could put more energy into just... playing in the water,
       instead of worrying about oxygen. And it didn't hurt her breath
       support when she sang, either... it was a win/win situation.
       Plus, being at a place with other people with Enhancements was
       cool. She hadn't met a person yet she disliked, and she'd met
       people that she decided were absolutely amazing. So, everything
       was going up since the Enhancement.

       I like it very much! It's your character, so it seems more
       befitting for you to choose (or at least heavily suggest) what
       kind of background and altered characteristics you would like
       for your character in this alternate universe, and none of it
       goes against what I have planned/written already. :) I feel much
       more relieved knowing we can RP out a scene together now, you
       don't even know.
