Yukito Ramsey
Someone was with him, against him, around him. Yukito felt hands
running down his arms, and he slipped away, mimicking the game
of chase that the girl from earlier had taught him the rules for
- look, touch, but don't taste yet. If they start to get too
attached to you, fade away until they need you again. His eyes
stung from the wet bangs plastered to his forehead, and his
mouth dropped open as he began to gasp for breath, refusing to
accept that he was starting to tire in the least. He couldn't
stop. He would just have to keep going forever. But there was
pressure and weight on his neck, the gloved hands slipping down
past the collar of his tank top, held against the skin at his
chest and making it harder for him to ignore, to keep moving, to
keep fading away. His partner said something, then, but Yukito
couldn't hear it. What was the use of talking, anyways? He let
out a hearty laugh, the sound isolated to their little circle,
cushioned by the wave of bodies on all sides of them. He was
amused by this person's attempts to make any sort of
conversation, when nothing was needed. He could bury the hollow
feeling in his chest, if he just refused to stop.
Suddenly, Yukito let out a gasp, as the hands snuck their way
beneath the material of his tank top again, this time trailing
up his spine and making it harder to stand. He wasn't sure what
was happening, but he couldn't slip away, as he had been taught.
His head was held, the hands playing through his hair gently. He
tried in vain to focus his vision and managed to see a face
swimming in front of him, a smooth, wet, attractive face that
watched him intently. Yukito gave a smile, chuckling at whatever
it was the face said to him. The face came much closer, then,
until their noses almost touched. "'Kay." the familiar voice
said.
Still grinning ear to ear, he repeated the one word he had
understood. "'Kay!" And then found himself sinking into another
dimension as his lips were smothered in another's. Hands were
running through his hair, making him rise up on the edges of his
toes as he inhaled sharply, surprised at first by the extra
contact. Then, he exhaled into the mouth, meeting it and tilting
his head to the side, a playful smile still on his face as he
was amused at he knew not what. His hands reached out and
gripped the sleeves of the body in front of him, as he needed
the support to stay on his feet, pushing forward and deepening
the kiss ever further. His fingernails dug into the forearms he
held so tightly, pulling himself closer as he tried to kill
himself on a kiss.
There was someone out there, tonight, that he wished was here
with him. He wished he could pull that person to him as he
pulled this person to him now, with unrestrained demands and not
hidden behind a ridiculous need for spoken words. But to think
about that only made his eyes start to water, so he pushed away
the thought before the tears could show. He had found someone
who wanted him, words or no, and he didn't want to end it. He
didn't want to go back to thinking and fearing and hiding.
Yukito fell back at last, his eyes still closed as he licked his
lips, smiling. "Mm..."
Unfortunately, his body was starting to give in. His legs
started to give way, and he started to crumble in the very arms
of the person holding him. "'Mm...'m fine.." he mumbled,
"****sureeshimasu.." The 'excuse me' was accompanied by starting
to walk away. But the instant his hands left Chevy he started to
fall, so he reached up to clutch the boy's arm desperately. He
felt so tired, like the world had just dropped its entire weight
onto every limb he possessed. "Where's my guitar?" he slurred,
blinking stupidly as he pushed through the people, feeling as if
he was about to throw up. He repeated the question, somewhere
along the way letting go of Chevy's arm. The instant he escaped
the tight collection of the crowd, he breathed in sharply, only
to find the smell of smoke and alcohol burning his throat and
lungs, making him cough while he searched for the table they had
been sitting at. Some new group was sitting there, now,
including a girl with long black hair and an expensive-looking
dress that didn't cover very much. Yukito stumbled past them,
reaching past the girl to grab his guitar, sending her a smirk
and a little salute as he wandered off. The girl stared at him,
her blue eyes wide, and called out after him something, but he
ignored her and made his way for the door. Would he walk, or
would he get a cab? He wasn't sure he could operate a cell phone
at this point, and he didn't want to see all the missed calls
and messages, so he decided to just walk it. He could make his
way home in his sleep, he was sure.
