Jasper Evans' Diary
By: Perfect Darkness Date: April 13, 2013, 12:02 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Jasper keeps his diary in his room, he doesn't bother to hide it
because as a general rule his bedroom is so messy he has to
search for it when he wants to write in it.
Jasper found the little pocket-sized memo book lying around the
house and it eventually morphed into a diary because one day he
happened to have it by his bedside when he felt like writing
about his day. He tries to write in it often but if he doesn't
it doesn't bother him much.
He usually just writes in it with whatever pen he has within
reach and writes whatever he pleases. At first it was difficult
to write in it with his claws, which constantly seemed to get in
the way, but he eventually got to the point where his claws
only slipped down the pen and scribbled a line across the page
every now and then.
(EDIT: I think that when Jasper started using his Diary was when
he met Zinnia, not before :).)

Entry 1
Dear Diary,
Man, that sounds weird. I never thought I'd keep a diary, but I
figure it might be helpful. For instance, I might end up needing
to find out when something happened, or something like that, and
I can find it in my diary.
Anyway, today I actually met someone during the course of my
day. Not that I said or did anything particularly amazing or
anything. Her name is Zinnia, and she seems nice. She was a
little distant, but it was understandable. She said she was
taking notes for a report or something she was writing.
Honestly, it didn't look like it would have any information
about Enhancements or anything she'd need for writing about
them. But then again, I have no reason to think she wouldn't be
honest, :-\ so I guess I'll just forget about it.
And Diary, I sure hope you would love to hear about my wonderful
younger sister Suzanne, because I talk about her a lot, and all
of the times I want to talk to anyone about her and don't
because I think I have talked too much about her, I will write
it in here. ;)
For instance, today she was talking about eucalyptus sandwiches,
and pondering what sort of condiments one would put on such a
sandwich. I'm pretty sure that it would be perfectly fine for me
to eat them, what with my specialized digestive system. But I'm
not so sure on whether they would taste any good. :D So we'll
have to see.
Well, that's all for today, Diary.

Entry 2
Dear diary,
Today was... eventful. The people from the school came in during
a class, regrettably during a lesson I had particular interest
in, but I looked into it more when I got home anyway.
Everyone was paired off and taken to different rooms and locked
up for an hour and told to pry into each other's lives and write
things down on a clipboard which hardly seems to help the
situation any to see things you never needed to know in the
first place about a stranger in plain black and white. No
emotion to things whatsoever. Strangely enough, it wasn't as
horrible as I make it sound. I was paired with a cheerful blond
boy, he said to call him 'Phoenix'. He somehow reminded me of
Suzanne. Which somehow immediately puts him in my good books. Or
diary, in this case. :)
Phoenix was nice, but I was worrying the whole time about
upsetting Suzanne, and sure enough. When I got home she was
sitting at the table looking sadly at a pile of odd-looking
sandwiches. As it turns out Suzanne and Mum went out of their
way to find eucalyptus leaves, a favorite of my fellow koala's,
and put them on sandwiches especially for me. I still don't know
how exactly they got their hands on eucalyptus leaves here, or
how it happened to be one of the very few types koala's will
actually eat. But Suzanne prepared them with some of the
home-made bread she and mom spent hours making last night, and
mayonnaise. I also do not know why the mayonnaise was used. But
it helped. The eucalyptus itself wasn't actually all that tasty.
But anyway. I did eat the sandwiches. But then Suzanne saw me
making a face and promised not to make them any more. I felt bad
because she seemed so excited, and she'd gone through all the
work of making and acquiring the eucalyptus sandwiches for me,
but I was also happy because I wouldn't have to deal with the
disgusting eucalyptus leaves anymore. :-[ I did thank her for
them though, then I played keyboard and Suzanne hummed along for
awhile. Nothing much else exciting happened. Now I'm in my
particularly-messy room now, writing this down. I really need to
clean my room more often.....
I might write more interesting things tomorrow, but I'm not
sure. Perhaps it will go back to being uneventful. Probably just
school, Suzanne, and playing video games with my friend Evan.
That sounds like a good day,
Jasper.T.Evans
