OOC Special Event Planning [01]

Alright, guys...most everyone said they were in on this plot. If
other people want to drop off from disinterest/dislike/whatever,
just feel free to let me know, and I’ll understand. :)
Additionally, if you haven’t said you’d join, you can also let
me know, because the more the merrier. ^_^
I am going to elaborate on my little plot, and feel free to make
insights, suggest things, and feel free to tell me, “that
doesn’t make sense”. I am also taking a little liberty with a
couple of NPCs, so please forgive me…lol I’m just throwing the
idea out there, so let me know your thoughts and opinions!
My idea is this: as part of a new psychological survey, Erin’s
dad, Jacob Spenser, has decided to kind of ‘borrow’ students
from two of the English classes at the Academy for a little
on-the-job research. Because technically speaking, the Academy
children are seen as semi-abnormal in the field of current
psychological studies, he wishes to proof there are differences
between these teenagers and the minds of other teenagers. He is
looking forward to connecting the dots in their personal stories
and psychoses in order to proof whether or not the Enhancements
has a long-term negative effect on the stability of the teens.
That being said, he has chosen two English classes, and he will
take students from those classes, and they will take part in
several process analyses in order to determine their level of
‘abnormality’.
Part of this process is an open-ended questionnaire (“NOT a
test”, he emphasizes), part of it is an individual session
between the student and Dr. Spencer himself, and part of it is
an hour-long session between two students, selected at random,
to see how they interact, as well as to allow the students to
reflect on each other on a personal level that would not be
possible from the formality level between Dr.Spenser and the
youths.
1. The questionnaire will be something I post in a thread on the
RPG AI forum, and you will fill out as your character (try to do
it all in one go, if you can! It makes it more believable) and
then you will reply in that thread with your characters answer.
If you would rather not disclose your character’s answer, you
may feel free to email them to me or private message or
whatever. I believe Dr. Spenser would keep these files
confidential generally, but under these circumstances, there is
a possibility of the student’s works being published in research
and study essays, so there will probably be a form for the
students to check as to whether or not they want their name
attached to the form, etc. Still undecided on that, as I might
just make it all quite anonymous for their own sake…idk.
2. The individual session between Dr. Spenser himself, since
Jacob technically belongs to GG, will be up to her. :) If she
doesn’t want Jacob to lead this, I can alter it so it is another
psychologist. I just chose him because he already works at the
school, it seemed like something he would take an interest in,
and we can play around a bit with the fact that Erin’s dad works
at her school as a therapist. lol! If GG has the time, she can
RP these sessions with your characters (she is really good at
writing Jacob…lol I just sit there laughing aloud to myself as
he analyses my characters…hahaha) OR we can just not and say we
did. lol Because I don’t think ANY of the characters would feel
comfortable or especially like that part, so it can just be
referenced.
3. This last portion will probably cause the most drama, and I
am looking forward to it. lol Each student will randomly be
paired up with one other student, and they have to spend an hour
alone together in a designated area. There is an informal little
questionnaire in order to help their conversation along and to
allow them to show some work for their hour, and there may be a
tape recorder also allotted to each couple. During this hour,
there will be hard questions asked, personal opinions voiced,
and hopefully some very beautiful character (and relationship!)
development! :)
I personally think these sessions would best be done on the
forum, in a normal roleplay. HOWEVER, I am open to the idea of
doing it on tumblr, though I would have to lay down some
formatting rules and tags,etc, for the sake of the cleanest RP
possible. This one you’ve really gotta give me some feedback
for, guys. ;)
I already have a few of the pairings figured out, but I want to
make sure what you guys think! This is why I wanted to know who
was in on it first, because I’ll probably add or remove
characters to make sure that we have an even number, etc.

GG has agreed to RP Dr. Jacob Spenser with each of the
characters in an individual 'evaluation session'! Yay!
She plays a good analyst. lol
The list of characters currently in on this plot: (bolded if
confirmed)
1. Yukito
2. Reese
3. Natalie
4. Erin
5. Chevy (I know Chevy has a tumblr, but in order to fully take
part, you're going to have to make him a profile first, alright?
:) Please make on as soon as possible!)
6. Phoenix
7. Clarence
8. Zinnia
Since we have an odd number, I may take one of my characters out
just to make it simple. Plus, it's a bit unfair that I have
three characters sometimes, right? lol...But if someone else
wants to join in, they are absolutely welcome!
ALSO. If you want to see a certain combo of two characters (they
can be your own, or two characters from other Players!) then you
can feel free to message me or 'vote' for them. I will take
bribes. Mostly in the form of asks on tumblr, or of delicious
plots and drama. ;)
And food. Food is usually pretty good.
Okay, the way we are going to do this is by using the threads
here on the forum. Once your character has a partner to RP with,
I will create a thread for that pairing in order to start you
off. I'll give you a room, what kind of things are IN that room,
and then the timer starts. Your characters have to spend one
hour in that room together, filling out the questionnaire, and
just talking. I'm starting to think that the recorder is a bad
idea, because I really don't want the characters to hold
anything back. :) It's time for some major developments!
Anyways, since the majority of the RP for this will be in that
one room, that is where you will post. Use it just like a normal
reaction, but keeping in mind that your characters can't leave
the room. You cannot post in any other characters' rooms, and
you cannot leave your own. I'll let you know when the hour is
'up' and your characters can have a closing remark or something,
alright?
And before it is asked or wondered: Yes, I am aware of how
heated these can become. I want it that way. However, I want to
be considerate of all my beautiful members. Kissing and making
out are allowed, but please refrain from sex scenes, and I would
appreciate it. ;) If that sort of thing is something you feel
necessary for your characters, or you just want the rules to be
more lax, please let me know so I can keep in mind for the
future what kind of things you all want. :) Make out as much as
you like, slap, get into fights, scream, cry, laugh. Get
personal. But stay away from Love Actually kind of raw for the
time being, alright? lol
Oh, and please keep in mind that god-modding is not allowed. If
your character is about to physically move in on another
character, message your other Player and discuss. Those are some
of the most hilarious conversations ever, I swear. lol Once your
Partner has given the go-ahead, you can feel free. Haha..
Finally, if GG would please either message me a description of
Jacob's office, or make him a thread for it, he can start his
'interviews' as soon as a character is confirmed for the plot.
:3 Your interviews should all take place in his office, so just
use one thread for that, and get started as soon as you have the
time, because I think you'll be kept busy with each one for
awhile...lol Does that work for you?

I am assuming that Erin is confirmed, since GG has agreed to RP
Dr. Spenser, but if at any time you would like to pull her out,
feel free to let me know. :)

Just send me a note, message, post here or in the OOC thread,
email, whatever, and say that you definitely want to take part,
after reading all that's involved. IF you have a character and
still want to take part, you are free to do so! There is still
room for more! Just let me know as soon as you can, and that
will be fine. :3

I wonder if we could add Amelia too? I think that would be
fun... because I want her to be in a room with Phoenix. I'd have
to find out of she's interested in putting her character on
here.

2. Erin Spenser/Reese Middleton
3. Jasper Evans/Phoenix Hutchinson
And IF these people have profiles either by today or tomorrow
night, I will place them with:

:) It is still not too late to join in on this plot! I just want
to get some people started, because I don't want to have to rush
you guys all the time. ;) The first three groups will have

Quick question: did you guys want to do full-fledge posts, or
just short excerpts? I'm seeing short posts and such, and I
understand you are all probably concerned about the length of
your passed time, but I would still like about a 200 word
minimum to posts, if you can manage it. Just to ensure that your
partner has something to go on. :) Thanks!
