Clarence Morgan's Collected Notes
By: morethanmusic Date: April 1, 2013, 2:59 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Clarence, not being a person of great organization or feeling
the need to have his thoughts anywhere they can be easily
accessed, does not have a very good system for collecting his
journal entries. They end up on sticky notes, or memo pad pages,
or scrawled into scratch paper for his homework. He does keep
them, buried in a drawer of books he's been given to read but
has no intention of actually finishing.
The only vice of this plan is that he actually has rather good
handwriting, and his notes -- if found in one piece -- are
entirely legible. But many of them are closed into book pages
and folded or torn into pieces.

scribbled on a crumpled yellow sticky note
Note to self:
Need a better lock on the door, Dad can still get in
separate note
You know what, never mind, he can break the door
Fix that tomorrow before Nat comes over
separate note
Oh, so he's in a charitable mood all of a sudden
How nice
No, by all means, he can fix the damn door
separate note
Why do I even bother
Can Easter be over now?
separate note
GRAM
WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU
WHEN WE NEED YOU
separate note
Never mind
just
never mind
separate note
The house is so much more quiet
when he's asleep
It's kind of amazing
separate note
Just a few more hours...
