Classrooms are big, and class size is small. Similar to the
famed Google workplace from the early 2000s, the classrooms at
the Academy are designed with the mind, well, in mind. All
decisions in classroom design were based in psychological
research explored and compiled by Jacob Spenser. The walls have
bene splattered in various shades of green, as evidence supports
green increases success rates in the class. Each student has
       access to personalized, Artificial-Intelligence-based curriculum
which customizes the learner's pace as well as learns the
students' strengths and weaknesses to better enhance his or her
lessons. Classrooms are connected to other schools worldwide and
often use the Internet for "webinar" styled lessons. Along side
this technology, each room is equipped with skylights and large
windows instead of artificial light (save for rainy days). Such
natural light and views have been shown to radically enhance
both the success and comfort of the pupils, which was of vital
       importance to its designers.
However, the increased technology has not negated the community
in the classroom. Students are always in groups, and are
encouraged in the Socratic method: asking questions and
challenging one another in order to gain understanding. A
classroom community is fostered by students and teachers alike.
And despite the influence of technology, it has not made the
teacher defunct as many anticipated. In fact, the teacher is
needed all the more for guidance, unity, and to help students
reach their fullest potential as the first true waved of the
       Enhanced generation.

       ooc: For MTM! bic:
       Erin Spenser
It was implied that Erin was supposed to like school more here.
But she'd gotten her lungs Enhanced, not her brain. Why couldn't
they've killed two birds with one stone or whatever? she
wondered sullenly as she dropped herself into her seat.
Nothing could make learning about the quadratic equation any
better. She wasn't even sure how she got that far in the
program... There had to be a glitch in the AI. Those could get
glitches, right? Begrudgingly, Erin sent a ping to the teacher.
AI is buggy... I don't get quadratic equations but it thinks I
do. It needs to be called Artificial Ignorance instead of
       Intelligence.
Erin looked over to where her teacher was helping someone else
with a question. The ping reached him, and he glanced over at
Erin with what she knew had to be a look of disapproval. The AI
curriculum was supposed to be something special, just for them.
But it wasn't working right... that wasn't her fault. She gave
an irritated groan and clicked off the screen, leaning back in
her seat. Either he'd have to come over and fix her dumb AI and
put her back on something she understood, or she couldn't do
       anything at all.
