Yukito Maki - Wings

Full name: Yukito Maki
Male
Age: 17
Physical description: He is of Japanese descent, and with a very
thin build. However, his strict diet regiment and workout
routine under Dr. Ramsey keep him in very good shape - he is
quite strong. Yukito is rather short, about 5'6"(169cm). He has
dark, shaggy hair that is cut haphazardly into various length,
and a slightly slumped posture, often standing with his hands in
his pockets and a solemn expression.
Character's Personality/Background Info: Despite being
bilingual, doesn't like to chatter on, keeps to himself a lot.
In severe denial about his own family problems, and since the
age of ten has been drowning out arguments with the heavy metal
music he tries to recreate. When he was eleven, his mother and
him left Chiba to visit Tokyo for three months, leaving just a
few days after his dad came back from touring with his band.
While in Tokyo, Yukito went to multiple psychologists and
specialists to try and repair the damage left from the horrible
relationship he had with his father, but at last his mother
decided they needed to leave Japan. She took her brooding and
temperamental son with her to the United States, and they were
happier there only for a short time - a car accident took her
son from her and left Yukito with a ruptured brain aneurysm and
amnesia. Dr. Hal Ramsey took the boy in and he has been living
with him since. Yukito can no longer remember his family or his
past, but still retains the moodiness and quiet nature he had
before. He is extremely hard to get to know, but he is also very
lonely.
Enhancement (if any): Yukito was an early experiment in Dr.
Ramsey's work, therefore he has had the most follow-up surgeries
and altered Enhancement properties. Inserted into Yukito's back
are twin metallic plates which are used to contain his wings.
The wings are made of a light, pliable (but extremely durable)
material, resembling a mixture between a bat's wings and a
hang-glider, in simple terms. They stretch about fifteen feet
across from tip to tip when full spread, and the canvas-like
material is made of a dull eggshell color, with the supports as
a gun-metal grey. Yukito also wears a metal casing that
surrounds his waist, protecting his back. The wings are attached
to a small nuclear reactor located deep within the casing, and
linking directly up to Yukito's muscle-control so that he has
complete control over the wings. However, the muscles required
to move the wings are actually contained within the wing
attachment itself, and is self-containing while drawing power
from the nuclear reactor. As of yet, Yukito cannot actually fly,
but merely glide along and temper wind currents.
