       Reese Middleton - Enhanced Synthesia

       Full name: Reese Middleton
       Age:17
       Physical description: About 5'9", with messy light brown hair
       that he is trying to grow out. He has dyed parts of it warm
       brown and golden hues. With a smile, he'll point to it and say,
       "I'm like a beautiful Reese's Piece." His family is fairly
       well-off, so he dresses in fashionable clothing, but not too
       formal. He has very thick lips, and brown eyes.
       Character's Personality/Background Info: Reese is the
       nondescript one of the group. The first to smile, the easiest
       one to approach. However, it wasn't always so. Until last year,
       Reese was one of the quietest boys you would ever meet. He was
       quite solemn and introverted. He received his Enhancement two
       years ago, and it took him quite some time to adjust. Once he
       realized that his talent could be used to make himself more
       likeable, Reese opened himself to this opportunity. Now he takes
       part in local sports teams, theatre groups, and has friends in
       every circle. However, he still struggles with his Enhancement.
       Instead of allowing him to get closer to those around him by
       reflecting what they wished to see, Reese found himself feeling
       more and more distanced from people, as though he was acting out
       a play - and inner thoughts and feelings can be very hurtful at
       times. In the end, he found himself drawn to the quieter types,
       finding it easy to use his Enhancement to fill in the blanks in
       conversation. While he appears outwardly to be quite the social
       butterfly, Reese finds it hard to enjoy the simplest of things
       at times. But he is always determined to try his best at
       anything he sets before himself.
       Enhancement (if any): Reese has heightened synthesia - he
       himself likens it to "mind-reading, but not exactly - more like
       feeling-reading". Whenever someone's nervousness makes their
       heart beat faster, Reese can feel the pulse like it was a
       pounding in his own brain. He can sense vague notions of the
       emotions of those around him, making him a "scientifically
       created super-empathy machine".
