Alice eagerly followed the professor into the other room, not
really minding what was around her. Nothing was too special to
her because she has already seen it all. Her amounts of research
and the belief that pokemon are stronger than humans made her
careless of any of the scientific aspects to training a pokemon.
Alice was in it for the strength and competitiveness. No
objective was out of reach for her. She truly believed that her
future team would be willing to take battles head on, no matter
how hard. Alice was eager to meet the first pokemon that would
start it all, the one who would persevere with her against any
odds.

As the professor entered the room she finally caught sight of
her special guest flown all the way from Sinnoh. "Ah Tenium im
glad you were able to make it here today." Tenium finally looked
up upon hearing the voice of the professor. "Oh professor, my
apologies i was so distracted with the video feeds of these
Pokemon i didn't notice you had entered." Tenium Walked over
briskly leaving his pack and notepad under the screen he had
just been studying. Extending his hand Tenium took a slight bow.
"It is a pleasure to meet you ma'am, I bring greetings from
Professor Rowan as well as the respects of the Florestall
Family. I look forward to learning under your tutelage and to
learning new things about the Pokemon that inhabit Kalos."
Tenium hastily finished his greetings as his face slowly shifted
to a shade of red. The professor giggled at his shyness. "Well
thank you so much for bringing those kind words from my
accomplice in Sinnoh." She Looked over at the other trainers in
the room. "well let me introduce the other trainers that will be
starting on their journey with you today. This here is Alice and
Theodore, Both are young trainers who have finally reached the
age to begin their journeys and leave today receiving their
first Pokemon." Looking at the two young trainers now "and this
is Tenium Florestall, he has traveled from the region of Sinnoh
to begin his first Pokemon journey here. but unlike both of you
he has already got his Pokemon and is here to receive his
pokedex. Tenium after being introduced looked down avoiding the
glances that would now be focused on him.

Professor Sycamore slowly separated herself from the group of
young trainers and in a flurry of movement exasperatingly
motioning towards the dais in the center of the room Professor
Sycamore got the attention of all three young trainers with one
comment. "Now the time you all have been waiting for here on
this pedestal that holds your futures i present to you the three
Pokemon that you will be able to select from!" As she finished
speaking each Poke-ball in turn opened releasing the Pokemon
held within. First out was the fire type fox Fennekin, it hoped
out and began to run around the room before stopping by each
person running around them a few times and finally ending up
sitting in front of the professor. Second out was the Water type
Frog Froakie who settled itself on top of the dais quietly
observing the Trainers. and lastly out of its poke-ball the
grass type Chespin came out of the poke ball directly behind the
Dais out of the immediate view of the trainers. the Professor
looked extremely happy with her introduction and the performance
of her three babies that were being selected this year. "Now i
assume each of you have already selected which starter you would
like to accompany you on your journey. but i must remind you i
only have these three for you and someone will be picking first.
so to make it completely fair i have elected that me and my
assistant shall." The professor paused exhaling the rest of her
air and breathing in once more "That Young Tenium Florestall
will be selecting who will get to pick first." She waved her
hand drawing Attention back to the young man who now stood
completely wide eyed and terrified. he so abruptly stood
staright up that it knocked his glasses from his face onto the
floor in front of him. he began to stutter and pale "i.. i, i
... i "

Alice grinned, clearly this boy didn't want to be called out. If
this kid picked fatty, then he would obviously be worried about
Alice bullying him and vise versa. She blew her bangs out of her
face and shrugged.

Tenium stood mortified. Abra heard the glasses fall to the floor
and immediately sent a psychic command picking up the glasses
and putting them back onto Tenium's face. "We.. well i was
always raised to let the girls go first so i will continue to do
just that. A.. Alice you get to pick first." once stating who
was to pick first Tenium immediately looked down to avoid the
stares of everyone in the room. Professor Sycamore Piped in
right then. "Well you heard the boy Alice you're first up to
select your Pokemon. Which shall it be huh?" Motioning to the
Pokemon in the room

Alice didn't hesitate. She knew which pokemon she wanted all
this time. "I will take the Fennekin, please."

Professor Sycamore reached down and grabbed the middle ball on
the dais."Well indeed that was fast. but here you go, your
poke-ball." She leaned over after handing the ball to Alice.
"Now Fennekin this young girl will be your new friend." After
saying this Fennekin gave a yip running in front of Alice and
sitting right in front of her. "Well Theodore it is now your
turn, which of the two remaining Pokemon do you choose."
Theodore began to bounce up and down excitingly "She didnt even
take the one i wanted, im going to take the cool blue Froakie,
he is by far the most impressive of all of the starters."

Alice leaned down to give Fennekin a pat on the head. She
studied Fennekin more... not shiny, female, and brave in nature.
Alice debated giving Fennekin a nickname as she watched the boy
pick froakie. "By far the most impressive, huh?" she muttered.
"We'll see about that."

Tenium now looking back up and at the professor. "Perfect now
that we have our Pokemon it is time to receive our pokedexs
right?" Teniums voice cracking at the end of his questions as
the stares of the other participants looked down on him.
Professor Sycamore laughed now "Now Tenium do you think that you
would not be receiving a Pokemon today as well, you have yet to
pick your starting Pokemon for the kalos region. Tenium looked
confused at the professor. "But Professor i already have a
Pokemon my trusty Abra."
