Xen walked to the cockpit rubbing his eyes as he walked up to
the two 2V-series droids that where currently setting up for
departure. "plot a course for Naboo and try and not draw any
attention" he said to both the droids which nodded in
compliance. the ship began to rise as its engines fired up. Xen
decided to check in with his new found crew mate, mechanic, and
whatever else she could be. walking into the tech bay and seeing
Lilly working on the drive asked "so how long do you think it
will take to install that thing?"

"Ow!" Lilly shocked herself on a wire she was trying to connect
when he broke her focus. "Depends on how often you come in to
distract me," she said. "I should have it done in no time. I
have finished connecting three out of five cables then just
going to screw and install it into the deflector shield grid,
configure and we're good to go. Really simple actually. Maybe
next time I can teach you and you can do it yourself." Lilly
smiled and continued hooking up wires to the ships computer.
"The cloaking device is going to be generated through our ships
shielding dish. This will form a network that reflects the area
around it, thus, creating the illusion we are invisible.
However, running the cloaking device weakens our defensive
shield so if we are to be noticed, and fired at, there's a high
chance of us taking massive amounts of damage. The shield
operates at a certain frequency at that point which allows
different types of matter to pass through. You are able to match
the shielding frequency to our weapons frequency so we may be
able to shoot through it, but they can't shoot us. Activating
the cloaking device and switching to our barriers takes thirteen
and a half seconds, which is a long enough window for our ship
to blow up and we end up like your previous crew."

"lets hope we don't have to engage any enemy ships then" Xen
turned about to leave when he stopped and needed to ask Lilly
something "you sure know a lot about this stuff, where did you
learn all of this? i mean its not like there is a class to
become a bounty hunter, you must have been something else before
you got to where you are now so what was it?" he asked this
curious about his new crew mate that he didn't really know
anything when he thought about it.

Plugging in the last cable and starting to mount the cloaking
device into the grid she sighed, "Before I became a Bounty
Hunter, my dad and I would fix up ships and worked a mechanic
shop for passing by travelers. He raised me to be somebody who
could hold my own. He raised me with a sense of combat
constantly and prepared me for war. It was a normal thing to do
back home. Everybody is taught how to take care of themselves.
We are all little soldiers waiting for a war. Honestly, this job
was only my fourth. I'm still really fresh at it. My dad not too
long ago ended up getting into some trouble with the black
market trade. Said he was stealing cargo off of the ships he
fixed up and traded it. Long story short he owes quite a few
people a lot of money and I intend to raise it to get him out of
this mess." Lilly had finished mounting the device and was now
configuring. "I'm not as tough as I seem though, so don't be
fooled. Family is very important to me. Strength, honor,
loyalty, and death is life. And if I am going to die any night,
I would see that the night would not pass quietly."

Xen was a little taken back, He had misjudged this girl. Xen
thought she had a lot more experience with bounty hunting and
expected her to have a much different past however this means
that she has a lot to learn about the battlefield however he did
admire her strong sense of honor and loyalty. she was still very
resourceful and could probably handle her own if push came to
shove. and as for dad well that wasn't a mountain he was willing
to climb at the moment but maybe he could help her get to her
goal. "i see i'm not the only one with an interesting past then"
he said folding his arms and leaning his back against the wall.

A little 'boop' could be heard in the background as
configuration was completed. Lilly stood and looked at Xen.
"Well let me guess... imperial sith? Oh I know, you must have
daddy issues too."

Xen rolled his eyes "I should have known you would say something
like that" pushing himself off the wall . "and i wasn't born
Sith or Imperial if you want to get your information correct, I
was born and taken in by the Jedi" after saying this he opened
his mouth like he was going to continue but then stopped for a
second as if to catch himself before he could saying more "it
doesn't matter anyway all that matters right now is that we
collect this bounty" Xen turned and started to walk out of the
room.

"Wai-wha?" Lilly tried to stutter her words but couldn't form
any to get out. 'I had to open my damn mouth didn't I,' she
thought. She ran to catch up to him. "Now wait just a second.
I'm sorry for coming across like an assuming asshole. I want to
hear your story, and don't you ever tell me again it doesn't
matter. You're a Jedi, so then what?"

Xen continued walking and sat down on a box full of supplies
"well to say that i'm a Jedi is wrong, if you where to say i was
a Jedi that would be more accurate." he paused clearly thinking
of things from his past "they took me in and raised me, sensed
that i was strong with the force from a young age or something.
I was about fifteen when i decided to leave the Jedi order and
all of its rules. they stopped my training after i accidentally
almost killed another boy about my age, I was angry i didn't
mean to hurt him i just lost control and pushed him with the
force with out trying. The masters sensed this angry and knew
that if i continued i could turn to the dark side and looks like
they where correct because in a way i did." he stopped and
thought about more of his past "I'm sure you've realized by now
that i'm not like much other Sith i'd rather not strike unless i
have too, part of my Jedi training that never went away i
guess." turning his head and looking directly at Lilly "they
exiled me and i was left to wander alone and forgotten by my
only family, until i came across a Sith lord he gave me a choice
to join him and continue my training or be left to rot and die
in the hell hole that was Nar Shaddaa and obviously i chose to
follow him." he closed his eyes and leaned back against the wall
"so now you know how i became a Sith."

"Light side, dark side, doesn't matter. You can't have one
without the other for there must be balance." Lilly paused with
him to chat. "What I do know is that you do seem different. If
you were anything else I would be dead by now, so... thanks."
