Xen thought for a moment "well the job is done and there really
isn't anything to do so whatever you want to do i guess." he was
kind of tired from the events that happened today.

"I think it is time for some well needed rest it sounds like."
Lilly stood upright and turned to head towards her quarters.
"Let's call it a night and get some sleep." Lilly looked back at
Xen. "Goodnight... Commander."

Xen chuckled and headed off towards his quarters. she was right
he did need sleep after the day he just had. "night" he said
back to Lilly as he past by her towards his room.

Lilly laid down on her cot and closed her eyes. Today was
interesting. She woke up ready to kill for a bounty in the
morning and ended up on a ship with a stranger, killing senators
in the evening. She smiled because she was enjoying Xen's
company and was looking forward to their adventures together. If
anything today really solidified her spot as part of his crew.

Xen took off his bounty hunter disguise, and laid down in his
bed. The hum of the engine was the only sound on the ship. He
stared at the roof thinking about how this could have went
better but was also relieved that Lilly never got hurt during
the madness. This caught him a little off guard when he thought
about it, slowly Lilly was had connected with him on some level
something he thought he wouldn't let happen again. He closed his
eyes thinking that maybe it was ok and that in the end it would
make them a better team.

Lilly drifted asleep... and woke up around what would be the
middle of the night on any planet, but in space it was always
the same. Lilly couldn't sleep comfortably and walked out of the
room and into the lounge. There was a conference table, some
chairs, and the holo terminal. Lilly sat in a chair at the
middle of the table. 'Only slept for about five and a half
hours,' she thought. 'I should be fine running off of this
amount of sleep.' She rested her head on the table with her arms
folded to make a pillow.
One of the 2V-R8 droids came up to her not long after she had
relaxed. "Excuse me, but might I interest you in a coffee?" it
said.
Lilly lifted her head enough to look at the droid. "Would love
one, thank you 2V."
The droid nodded, "Let me know if there is anything else I can
assist you with." The droid then hurried off to find a cup for
her.
Lilly sighed and wondered how much longer Xen would be awake.
She stared through the front window of the ship and watched as
the stars in the distance glittered. Each one seemingly taunting
her with new adventure and exploration. There's just so much out
there she wanted to see.
At this point 2V-R8 was now back with her coffee. "Here you are
ma'am."
Lilly took the coffee in her hands. "Thanks again 2V. Oh, and
please don't call me ma'am."
"Noted: I will call you Lilly from now on," the droid confirmed
and went back to his station.
Lilly slowly sipped at her coffee until an hour had passed.
'Maybe I should wake Xen,' she thought.

Xen was still asleep dreaming of his past. The images of fire
and the battlefields he had been on kept appearing over and
over, until a massive explosion woke him up. Xen sat up quickly,
breathing heavily looking around his room but there was silence.
The explosion that had woke him had been apart of his dream.
rubbing his eyes pushing himself up against the wall so he could
get his bearings, he sat in silence wondering if he could ever
get a good nights rest.

Lilly decided to go wake up Xen. Walking through the lounge, the
lockers, and finally reaching his quarters she pressed the
button to open his door. Seeing Xen was already sitting up she
said, "I see you're already awake."

Xen looked up "yeah" he said staring at Lilly and stayed silent
for a few moments before asking "is there anything you wanted?"

"I couldn't sleep and by the looks of it neither can you. What's
going on?" she asked as she went to sit down on the corner of
his bed.
