"Indeed, I was," she said taking the bag and peering inside of
it. "Glad to know this was taken care of, but you are not who I
was expecting. How did you come across this?"

"I gained some information that a high bounty had been place on
a target close to my location when i followed up on my info
someone had already claimed the kill, i simply killed them and
took the bounty for my own and thinned out competition at the
same time". Xen paused hoping this would stop her from asking
questions.

Lilly started to clench her jaw praying this lie would work.
"I see. How much information did you get exactly? I had been
very clear about confidentiality." Senator Teep stood closer to
Xen, her face becoming stern.

Xen knew that if this kept up things could get ugly "whispers
really nothing to outstanding, just a rumor of who set the
bounty up" he paused again and continued "the target was clear
just not the person who set it, so i took a risk and it looks
like i was correct in guessing that you where the one who set
this bounty up." he said this trying to sound confident in his
abilities.

Lilly hit her head against the tech display. "We're doomed," she
thought.
"The man who was assassinated was supplying ships to the
imperial spies from people here on Naboo. He no longer was
reporting back on where those ships were taken and given to. He
started working for the Imperial Order and was selling Naboo
secrets. He originally worked for me and I needed him silenced."
The Senator was now almost nose to nose with Xen. "And you are
sure, you were not told of any information regarding Naboo?"

Xen kept his eyes forward as if he was at attention "no ma'am
just heard a whisper that it could have been someone by the name
of Teep. from there i did some research into the name across a
few databases you could have been the only with that amount of
credits to place a bounty that high on a target." he knew know
that she was testing him and that if he didn't fill the roll
completely he would have to fight his way out of here. At this
moment he thought about how he never moved his saber from his
robes to his new outfit. and how he never came with a blaster
either. Xen could only think of the worst at a time like this.

At this point Lilly was already standing and making sure her
blaster was attached to her belt and remembered Xen never
grabbed his saber from his robe. "SHIT!" She said.
The Senator smiled. "I would hope if you did know any
information about my dealings with the Imperials, you would keep
quiet, otherwise I cannot have any loose ends." Teep was now
being backed by a couple of her guards. "Come to think of it I
was expecting somebody else. What happened to that someone?"

"Like i said taken care of i made sure of that, they didn't even
notice the thermal detonator that took them out" Xen paused for
a moment "I iwsh i could have give you some proof but they where
disintegrated, all i have is a few scraps from there armor" he
hoped that this lie would work.

Lilly, still listening, was rushing into Xen's Quarters and
grabbed his lightsaber, she attached it to her belt and was
ready to leave if things started to go down.
This time one of the guards spoke up. "Thing is, we needed her
to be here. The Senator here was helping us catch her. Her
father owes us a lot of money. Now, we will have to take you
instead. There's no way you are here without being told some
things. You know too much and we can't have any loose ends can
we?"
It was then Lilly realized the Senator was corrupt. She was
purposely aiding the Imperials and was working with the Black
Market. Those poor Republic Spies on Naboo had been putting
their trust in the wrong lady. She called out the bounty because
she was being betrayed by that ship thief... and that Guard
wasn't actually a real guard, but one of the guys looking for
their money and obviously growing impatient. It was apparent
they were going to lure her in using this bounty as an excuse
and relying on her own lack of experience to come for her
unknown execution, thus threatening her mother further.
Lilly was already rushing out of the ship. 'I have to rescue him
now,' she thought. 'He needs me and after this we have to go
straight to the Hutts to report a bad bounty, a corrupt senator,
and the attempt on my life under Hutt control. The Hutts are
sure to hunt down Senator Maida Teep for this.' Lilly continued
thinking of her plan as she ran out of the ship and to the city,
as well as planning their escape.
