Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

Above the Sith planet of Dromund Kaas the silence of space was
interrupted by a ship that had fallen out of Hyperspace, The
ship trailing dark thick clouds of smoke quickly lost control
after the jump and was now plummeting towards the surface of the
planet below. From the planets surface many eyes watched as the
ship of unknown origin fell deep into the jungles that covered
the planet. The young Sith that had been meditating quickly
stood as he could feel a great disturbance in the force, quickly
he grabbed his belongings and running outside of the dark temple
to witness what this feeling for dread approaching. His eyes
widened to see the same image that thousands did moments before
he did. The ship crumbling as it fell was going to crash very
close to the temple and a lot closer the Sith then he wanted it
to be. Taking action quickly the Sith ran to his nearby speeder
and accelerated in the opposite direction of the ship hoping not
to get caught in the shock wave that was sure to follow once the
ship finally touched the surface.

Lilly wandered through the alleys of Hub 3, the central hub for
travel and one of six sections of a budding city. She had a
distaste for Dromund Kass- neither enjoying the swamps,
lightning, or its people. She was here for business only, she
reminded herself, and would be off shortly. Lilly kept her eyes
peeled for the target... a human who has been on the run after
stealing several ships from somebody... it didn't matter who.
She only cared that the person was rich and a dead body meant
money. Still cleaning up the mess her father left her after a
terrible trade in the black market, this human would bring in a
pretty penny. Lilly didn't realize much into her thoughts that
people around her were scattering and pointing up towards the
sky. An eminent ship crash into the planet it seemed. Out of the
comer of her eye she caught a glimpse of her target. Out of this
chaos brings good opportunity. Nobody would notice him if he
disappeared.

Weaving through the dense jungle on his speeder trying to escape
the immanent threat that was falling at a rapid pace behind him.
Xen knew he needed to get back to the city with the information
he learned at he temple and that his master would be pleased.
Just as he finished this thought he could hear the sound of the
ship colliding with the planet's surface the explosion that
followed nearly deafened him, shrapnel and molten metal flew
through the sky. A massive piece of the hull had ejected by the
explosion and crashed through a swamp nearby spraying water and
mud in all directions almost hitting Xen. He continued on as he
could see the city in the distance and that he would arrive
there soon.

As the falling ship came crashing into the planet surface, Lilly
ran in and out of the people on the streets. Following her
target closely, he turned down an alleyway and once around the
corner she caught up to him. Completely out of view of any
others, even distracted as they may be, she pinned him against
the wall of what looked like an office building. She covered his
mouth and held her blaster to his stomach. Through her helmet's
voice changer, Lily threatened, "You and I both know the ships
you land and trade here don't belong to you."

Reaching the edge of the jungle and escaping the falling ship
Xen could see the Imperial Capital. He slowed as he entered one
of the nearby hanger bays and stopped near a door in the back of
the open room. walking through the door into the open city Xen
made his way towards the Sith temple temple. Passing through
crowds of people as the rain got heavier Xen passed an alleyway
and noticed something out of the corner of his eye. A man pinned
against a wall by what looked to be some sort of bounty hunter.
Xen quickly got behind the corner to survey the situation
interested to see how things would turn out.

The human stammered, "Wh-what ships?"
"Don't play stupid with me," Lily said shoving the blaster up
and under his ribcage, pointed at his heart.
"Okay, okay, okay!" His eyes darted as he searched for a way to
run as he thought of the words to say. "What do you want? I'll
pay you more than whoever sent you to kill me, if you let me
go."
Lilly smirked. "Money is a good to sound to my ears, but who's
head would I give for the bounty? And what would happen to me if
ships continued to go missing?"
"Please, I have a family to feed. My wife, she is sick and I am
trying to care for my two sons. I will return the ship that I
have not sold yet and won't steal another. We can find another
head for you to take, anything. I beg you." The ship thief
seemed desperate, but almost as if lying to make Lilly feel
guilty.
Lilly wasn't buying any of it. "I've read your file. You know
you can't lie to me. Your wife will die either way and you have
no sons because she was never able to bear any children for
you..." Lilly thought for a moment and had an idea. "Listen,
I'll take your money now. You will pull out your datapad and
transfer me 20,000 credits. Twice what they would've paid me for
your dead body. Then I will let you go."
The thief pulled out his device, there was a few beeps as LIlly
slowly started to pull away her weapon and then he said, "There
it is done. You have my word I won't steal any more ships from
that-"
Before he could finish Lilly fired her blaster straight through
his forehead. "Sucker," she giggled. Twenty thousand credits for
free and another ten when she cashed in his head.

Xen still watching from the corner thought to himself "Of all
places he thought he would be safe". Xen turn back around the
corner to lean against the wall and looking up at the gloomy
grey sky's, rain and thunder all around him. Letting out a long
sigh and thinking about how ruthless this place was, if it
wasn't a Sith it was a soldier and if it wasn't them it was
someone like that bounty hunter. There was really no place left
that was truly safe in the galaxy. Still interested to see if
there was any more to the show he just watched Xen decided to
peek around the corner again.

Lilly was started to bag up the head when she felt somebody was
watching her. She looked up at the corner at the alleyway and
saw a man staring at her. "Hey!" she yelled. "What the hell do
you think yer lookin' at?" She grabbed her bagged head and
started bolting down the alleyway. This guy wasn't going to get
away alive. No witnesses, no loose ends.

Xen let out another long sigh and knew that this bounty hunter
could be trouble. Walking into the middle of the alley to face
his attacker "I'm only going to warn you once if you attack me
now ill strike you down where you stand" he said while staring
down the alley at the bounty hunter. while saying this he
quickly grabbed his Lightsaber and ignited it. the saber glowing
a deep red and sizzling with every drop of rain that hit it's
blade. Xen gripped the hilt hard preparing for the worst.

Lilly had hopes of killing him quickly, but once he stepped into
view she froze. "Oh fuck," she muttered. This guy was a freaking
lightsaber wielding scum. People still littered the streets and
were becoming less distracted by the fallen ship, and Lilly
realized... this was definitely going to cause a scene. A quick
shot with a blaster would have sufficed, but a glowing saber in
the middle of an alley? No luck trying to sneak her way out of
this one, and getting noticed would only mean trouble.
"Curiosity sure did kill the cat," she said through her helmet
voice-box. "Let's not draw out any unwanted attention."
