Tanner chuckled, putting his foot down hard on the pedal, the
       car roaring forward.
A day passed, mostly of driving, when they pulled into the small
town of Lewistown, Montana, the area where the vamps were seen.
"Alright, here we are. This is the town where the killings have
been happening." he said, reducing his speed.

"Awesome," Ayil said. "So what first Mr. Hunter?" Ayil made the
realization... "What IS your name?" She turned to look at him
       with a curious look.

Tanner glanced over at her. "Name's Tanner. Tanner Barret." he
said. "And first thing's first, I'm getting something to eat.
Check a local diner. Good place for intel as well."

"Well... Tan-ner," she said with a sassy head bob, "You do
       that." Then she disappeared.

Tanner sighed, shaking his head. "Friggin demons..." he
muttered. About 10 minutes later, Tanner pulled into the parking
lot of a small restaurant called "Grisley Jimmy's." Odd name,
but they had a sign that said "Best Steak in the States." Wasn't
about to pass that up. He shut the car off, getting out and
going inside to take a table near the back, next to a window.

Ayil was already on the case. From what she knew here in
Lewistown rumor of a nest and strange ritualistic burials have
been around for a couple hundred years. People would be buried
with sickles around their necks or rocks weighing them down to
prevent them from rising from the dead. A superstition one might
call who didn't believe in the supernatural. Drawsko was a cute
little farming village outside Lewistown and the people there
seemed pretty convinced that Lewistown had a curse.

Tanner pulled the car into a parking spot of a hotel called The
Red Roof Inn and shut it off. He stepped out, looking around.
       "Well, this looks...charming."
