After 45 minutes, Jasmine had finished her session with Axe and
had filled out a report with strange questions. She knew not to
ask Fury anything about what was on the report but she filled it
out nonetheless. A guard ran into the room as Axe and Jasmine
were finishing up. "Agent Lara, the other speci - I mean -
patient is getting highly distressed about why she was put in
here. She produced a high pitched squeal before and sheesh it
hurt."
"It's been lovely to see you again, Axe." Jasmine shook his
hand, "I hope we can meet in more... desirable events." Jasmine
flashed her warm smile before walking out with her folders.
Richard pointed out the next interrogation room that the next
patient was in. Jasmine opened the patient files to a patient by
the name of Sophia Fraser.
Patient: Sophia Frances
Age: 22
Occupation: Former Vet, went missing after break in at vet
clinic
Ability: Compulsion over animals, can develop behaviours from
focused Animalia
Comments: Lost all contact with civilisation after being
missing, has a wild nature and unpredictable behaviour
Personality: Wild, uncontrolled, unpredictable and (in some
cases) shy
Jasmine walked in the door, grabbed the controller and changed
the room to a forest setting, animal noises could be heard in
the distance. She slowly made her way to the table and sat down.
"Hello, Ms. Fraser. I'm Dr. Jasmine Lara, would you like to come
sit up here and talk?"

Sophia looked up from the corner she was sitting in and stood
up, observing Jasmine. She sat down slowly. "I've heard about
you. You treated my father, helped him. He always said you were
the only good one." She seemed completely focused on her and not
the animal noises. "The birds don't sound like that." She
muttered to herself.

Jasmine studied her every inch, she had ripped clothes and messy
hair. Her skin was dirty but she had the most beautiful eyes.
"So, Sophia, with what you know, hoe long do you think you've
been in the wild for?"

"Three months, two weeks and five days. I keep count. Well, the
wolves do. Extraordinary creatures. One command and you could be
ripped to shreds or taken care of." Sophia said this with a
plain face. She felt no need to lie about what she was thinking
to Jasmine.

"That's quite precise, Ms. Fraser. Do you know about what
happened while you were gone?" Jasmine filler Sophia in on her
family's perish in a fire that burnt their house down. "Your
brother was meeting them for Thanksgiving but the they all must
have been distracted as because the oven overheated and caught
fire. The house was engulfed in flames in a matter of minutes."
Sophia seemed broken, like she was trying to comprehend but her
animal instincts were distracting her. "Sophia," Jasmine bent
down and placed her hand on the wild girl's lap, "You are the
last remaining member of your family... I'm sorry." Sophia
looked up into Jasmine's eyes, a recognizable fire of rage and
hate washed them, piercing Jasmine. Jasmine stared back, this
was a challenge, an animal instinct that Sophia knew all too
well. Sophia then stepped down, recognizing Jasmine's imaginary
dominance. Jasmine knew she had no human dominance over Sophia,
but in Sophia's world, the animal world, Jasmine had authority.
Jasmine stood up and grabbed Sophia by the arm, leading her to
Richard. "Sophia, this man will take you to your bedroom, his
name is Richard." Richard grabbed Sophia's arm, holding a tight
grip. She growled a bit, "Richard!" Jasmine tore his arm off and
went to lead him outside when Sophia had lunged at him, tackling
him to the ground.

A thousand emotions rand through Sophia's head but only one word
repeated itself over and over again. Dead, dead, dead, dead,
dead... Sophia lunged at Richard, his move marking him as a
threat. She managed to tackle him to the ground and hold him in
an uncomfortable position, proving her dominance over him and to
show Jasmine that anyone was a threat. She did not hold him for
long but kicked him away, hearing a crack or two of his ribs as
he fell to the ground. "Don't ever touch me again. Both of you."
A dangerous glare sparked in Sophia's eyes as she turned to
Jasmine. "I may have lived with animals for a while but I am
still human. There is no need to lead me by a leash." She looked
back down at Richard, where he was moaning on the ground. "He'll
need an ice pack and rest for three days." She gave him a small
look of apology before be escorted out of the room by another
guard.

"Extraordinary, isn't it? She has lived with animals so long but
she is still human."
"You obviously don't understand the human mind, Fury." Jasmine
exasperatedly turned around, slumping onto her knee. "You learn
things at specific stages of your life. If she was learning how
to walk and behave as she was living with the animals, she'd
only know those habits. She was a fully grown woman, she has
studied them and decided to use their behaviors to her
advantage. She still knows human manners, but she's come to
realize she's more comfortable with the animal world."
"You seem to know a lot about these two."
"Two? As in Axe and Sophia? I practically grew up with Axe while
with Sophia, I spent years studying the human mind." She whipped
around, about to leave when Fury called her name.
"Jasmine? I have a proposition for you."
"I think you do,"
"And what might it be?"
"A team. You and Steve can keep an eye on it."
"We already have the Avengers, or have they become to mainstream
for us, now?"
"No, a band of misfits. People who don't quite fit into society.
We need a team for operations that are too extreme for our main
ops team, but too basic for the Avengers."
"No! They won't enjoy it, if they have the same basic routine
day in and day out, they'll want something different."
"We can sort that out." He got up and walked out as Jasmine
watched him exit. What has Fury done? He better not put these
people in danger. She picked up her things and followed him to
his office.

Sophia was led into her room, in which she would be staying for
a while, she guessed. She could smell that no one else had been
in the room and that calmed her nerves a bit. The guard closed
the door behind her and she looked around. She studied every
surface from a distance before settling on the bed. She sighed.
She never liked being alone, which was why she went to the woods
and lived with the pack of wolves. Her pack of wolves. She
missed them. And her proper family.
A single tear slid down her cheek, surprising her. She was never
a crier but today had just overwhelmed her. She sunk into her
mattress before letting the sobs overtake her. Her family, all
gone. Burnt. She could just imagine their screams.

Jasmine barged into the office behind Nick, arguing on their way
in. Steve sat on the couch, waiting to talk to Nick about the
team. "FURY! What are you going to do to these poor people. They
don't cope in groups, well, human at least."
"That girl said she was as human as we are. She'll cope fine
with Axe and a few others."
"OTHERS?!"
"We're starting with those two, you and Steve leading them. The
others will join once we find some candidates."
"So you're just going to find other talented people and force
them to work together?"
"That's the plan."
"You can't just-"
"WATCH ME!" Nick spun around, furiously slamming his fist into
the glass table, causing a crack.
"HEY!" Steve jumped up, staring Nick in the eye. "Do NOT talk to
her like that!" Nick raised an eyebrow at the two and sighed.
Steve and Jasmine slightly hung their heads, they might as well
have been caught having sex. "Usually I can't allow
relationships to work together as cohorts, but this team needs
you two."
"This team isn't going to be!"
"Jasmine, slow down." Steve walked over and placed his large
hand on her shoulder. "Imagine, the Avengers can't be left to do
every small job there is. You'll get time to psychologically
study the two and how they interact with each other in these
situations."
"But it's not safe for them, Sophia might even need to have a
little more learning before she can fully interact with others."
"Then do it," Nick piped up. "We need this team, it doesn't seem
like much, but it's a lot." Jasmine sighed and looked back and
forth between Steve, Nick and the patient files in her hands.
"Fine, on one condition, as soon as I feel like things go south,
I'm pulling them out." Nick nodded in response to her condition.
"So, when do we start?"
"Now." He said as he shooed them off.

Sophia wiped her eyes before the same guard came back in. "I
thought you would like to do some training, get some emotions
out. It always helps me." He started walking to the training
center. She followed, looking around her surroundings. Once they
reached the training center, the guard, John, handed her some
work out clothes in. "Richard tells me you have a good kick.
Wanna show me?" She smiled slightly and walked over to a
punching bag. She breathes in before kicking the bag, damaging
the leather on one side.
