The Luxes come across as the worst in-laws you can get.
Suffice to read how they cut off and treated Jean and his then
partner when they conceived a child out of wedlock, even if they
were later reintegrated into the family.
I do question how MT and Henri are as parents and in-laws. I do
feel that MT doesn't like to be overshadowed by her
daughters-in-law and is overbearing. Tessy stated that she
wasn't allowed to work in Luxembourg (she would probably have
become too popular and close to the people). I wonder if
Stephanie also feels the pressure, as she doesn't work much
either. And there is of course Claire, which has distanced
herself and her family from Luxembourg. Out of the three she's
the one that can easily tell them off, since her father is
extremely wealthy. I also feel that MT didn't appreciate that
Tessy didn't want to pretend to be married once it became clear
to her that Louis was no longer part of the marriage.
The Luxes could (should) have provided Tessy with her own home,
like the DRF did with Alexandra, and they could (should) have
provided her with a well-paid good job at one of the
       international organizations.
Once again, kudos to the DRF in how they treated Alexandra,
providing her with a house and an income. The DRF showed her two
boys that their mother has been treated with respect and is not
to be disposed without any further thoughts about her will being
once the divorce is pronounced. As the mother of two of the
monarch's grandkids, she very much remains a part of the
extended family. This is something that Marge understood and has
       handled very well.
       JMO.

It was very poor to disinvite Tessy.

       I agree.

Well I’ve always said I don’t think MT is all seeetness and
light , I do think she feels she is Queen Bee and will not hand
over any power or leave any of her daughters in law over shadow
her. She is very in to her own profile with the use of over
photoshopping her public pictures . I don’t buy just because her
MIL was overbearing that MT isn’t . Tessy will have to get used
to a new ( old) way of lifestyle . But you cannot say power to
the woman crap she preaches and then diss her kids grandmother
       ..

It was easy for the DRF to treat Alexandra well after the
divorce since the bill was/is on us taxpayers, not the DRF.
If they had had to pay for her upkeep themselves, I am not sure
it had been as pretty a picture.

had a boyfriend and that he's likely to "appear" after the
       divorce.

Much older than her. This happens all the time, you live with a
boy for a time and need a man after that, lol.
