So Louis pay a nominal child maintenance of 8 grand a year ( 4
grand per child ) , the judge also says Tessy and the boys can
live in the home she is living in. I presume the low child
maintenance is due to his wages with the judge taking in to
account that school fees ( the two boys are at boarding school )
are being paid and the holidays and weekends are split. Since it
says she can live in the home , it means that while the kids are
minor or till she remarries as it’s most likely owned by the lux
royal family.
So in a few days / weeks the divorce will be finalized..

The judgement in full. She owes £66 grand to her former lawyers
. The Grand Duc and Duchess will pay the kids schooling ,
insurance and medical expenses but they refused to meet any
demands of Tessy that they would meet any award to her via Louis
as it would be unfair to their other children and above what’s
expected of them. Her own income is 81 grand gross and 51 grand
net , in the circle she wants to move in this is pin money.
Louis gets €40 grand a year in allowance from his parents and
lives rent and bill free. The judge could not make any judgment
on her title , she will lose it , it seems the the grand duc
wont make allowances for her that he’d have to do in the event
of another divorce.
All in all the judge as per I thought it would do made the
judgement on Louis’s income. The Lux trust will provide a home
until the boys finish college. Whether they will provide the day
to day running expenses I can’t tell but if not that will be
expensive for Tessy .
All in all the lux royals and Louis will be happy with this
judgement , Tessy won’t .
A tale for any modern royal family when you married for love and
the husband or wife brings no money into the family. Especially
those that are not in direct line to the throne, life style
while married is great , but when it goes belly up it goes belly
up.

I think Tessy will be okay. Her kids are at a boarding school
that will prepare them for an upper class lifestyle. She has a
roof over her head. Other than that she will have to earn her
living like many other divorced mothers/single women. The Duc
and Duchess won't let her fall on her face because she is still
the mother of royal grandchildren.

I’m sure the luxe’s royal house are now more than happy they
paid for a great education for Tessy. The fact is if she wasn’t
highly educated and was a “stay home mother doing limited royal
engagements” she would have got her £157 grand plus a year she
was demanding. As it is now , she is rent free for 12 years ,
her take home pay is around £51 grand a year giving her a 1000 a
week . She will pay the day to day running of the house , car ,
her own health insurance. Seems like a lot but where she lives
now , everything is expensive, from hairdressers , to
restaurants ect. Sofia of Sweden take note !

I agree! Tessy got a relatively good deal. LOL! Sophia needs to
pay attention - although I'm not sure she will leave the cushy
nest she lives in no matter how bored she gets. ;D Meghan will
mostly likely win a much larger multi-million dollar settlement
from the British Royal family after her divorce approximately 3
years from now.

You’ve got to think that while after a few years Henri let her
use her husbands style and titles that in the background there
must have always being a doubt . Nothing in Louis’s name ,
nothing on paper about allowances for the married young couple ,
just seems to have sent in the expenses and they were paid out .
Felix wife is from a very wealthy family , I expect after this
Sebastian and Alexandra will marry well to do.

MeMe/Preghan has a special relationship with Prince Charles. As
the future King he has endless resources and will probably give
her more (multi-millionm$$ settlement) than housing and boarding
school fees (@Harrow or Eton) for the kid. There will also be a
major concern about her spilling the beans on the BRF, so
documents will be signed in exchange for a nice nest egg.

I think the very wealthy Lux family could have given Tessy a
house where they live now or, even better, the exact house that
she and the boys live in now. Failing that, she should have the
use of the boys' family home as her own for life.
Louis and Tessy did get reliable money and gifts in kind from
the family and he will continue to.
Basic expenses for the upkeep of the home would have been
reasonable too.
The settlement seems to take care of the boys.
It is fair that Tessy should work and develop her career. It is
also reasonable that the boys have continuity and expectation of
seeing their mother housed.

the Luxes come out of this looking very bad.
tessy's initial request was actually reasonable, as she had
claimed a while ago.
i do not know what to think of her but she's served luxembourg
well over all those years, much better than the other
daughters-in-law. hats off to her for standing up for herself
rather than being a doormat, which is what her in-laws seemed to
have expected of her. i wish her and her sons well and hope that
her sons will not be treated as second or third-class family
members on their father's side.
all the more respect to the danish royal family for how they
have treated alex.
even the BRF comes out looking better for how they settled
Diana's and Fergie's divorces!
